      That's exactly what I'm saying. These coilovers are just fine for day to day driving, back road spirited driving, and highway pulls/races. I know 1st hand from 2 buddies that run these that I've rode shotgun with. I wouldn't put these on a hardcore track or drift car, but on a daily? Hell yeah, why not?? Their cheap enough not to give a 💩, 😆 and certainly ride better than OEM suspension. 💯

Why spend double on OE suspension with no adjustability whatsoever, weaker tubing and mounting points, when you can get some cheap coilovers that will perform better, be adjustable, and be more sturdy? Especially if you're driving your car 99% of the time on public roads.
      I think these coilovers are a great alternative for people who just want to replace worn out or busted OE suspension. 💯 That's the part that videos like this fail to address. They act like $1000 coilovers is the end all be all even for people who just daily their car. 🙄😂🤦🏾

    The $532 Rev9 HS2's you scrolled by are pretty damn good for a simple entry level coilover set. 32-click adjustable damping, front camber plate, decent height adjustment, and like damn near all 240sx kits has 8k/6k springs. So far, 3 months of daily driving and weekly backroad fun with the occasional jump, and they're holding up perfectly. Ride is smooth and comfy with damping at 16. They also had the decency to come with the spanners.

    I’ve ran maxpeeding rods, rev 9, racelands, currently on Godspeed coil overs.
    Anything over 300hp - maxpeeding rods and similar brands wont hold after the 1st year. It destroys the damping in the shocks and blows shortly after that. In my experience, that’s what usually happened. Great systems for cruising. But if your on the beans, I recommend saving the cash and buying one of the upper brands.

    I’ve ran maxpeedingrods on my cb7 which were okay.I ran their updated mono tube design on my gd impreza rs and they are great compared to the old ones. About as good as a bc imo but I doubt they’d last as long. All in all I’d definitely again buy cheap maxpeedingrods coilovers for cars that are valued at the price of entry level BCs or teins😂 in my experience really aren’t that bad for what you’re paying.

      People that didn't ever had them or coilovers at all say they are junk.
      People that had them and changed to top tier stuff say they are bad
      People that switched to mid tier say they aren't that bad.
      Some people had bad experience other great.

      Here's a video of a guy Installing these on his S-Chassis with no problem. th-cam.com/video/pQ-gEaEWYLE/w-d-xo.html This video was totally staged. This was an attempt to try to make people stop saving money on coilovers and buy from fitment industries. At the end of the day, if you're not tracking your car at least 75% of the time you don't need $1200 coilovers PERIOD. Most People who run $1200 coilovers on their car literally drive on public roads like 98% of the time. 💯 At the end of the day, these are better than Factory, which is all you'll ever need if you don't track your car.

    • @vasperaldus1380
      @vasperaldus1380 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      they aren't bad for entry or mid level enthusiasts cuz ik there are better brands out there, im.currently running a set on my ae 100 for 3 years now, its a daily set up and the ride is alright, better than the lowering springs i had before but i havent push their capabilities or whatever to really say for sure....i guess you'd have to try and see

    • @jay_z3
      @jay_z3 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@vasperaldus1380 I guess you meant they "aren't" bad. But even if they only last for 3-4 years, they're so cheap that you could easily turn around and just buy another set. 💯
      Even OEM suspension will need to be replaced after about 4 or 5 years, but Instead of paying twice as much for less performance and no adjustability, just replace with decent cheap coilovers.
      The fact that they can even last about 3-5 years is well worth the small amount of money. I'd hate to pay $1200 on a set of coilovers and they don't last at least 10 years.
      I haven't seen anyone run a set of high end coilovers for 10 or even 6 years if they daily the car, or track it.
      So in a nutshell I'd rather pay $300 for maybe 5 years of use over paying $1200 for 5 years of use. 💯

    A guy I work with decided to get new struts for his car. Went on ebay, found a set of 4 for around 120-150...
    He said they were Monroe. When he actually showed me the page, they were "like Monroe".
    With all the sketchy shit he did to that car, he wound up selling it for at least a couple grand - a car he got for free and then fucked up all the safety stuff on, destroyed the suspension and drive axles on...
