Base mode with all the swords looks more like a Dinobot Throne from Game of Thrones
I went for a generic 3d printed set without weapons. Looked great with the feet and hands on, really transforms (🤣) his look. I later picked a sword and for him too.
This set looks really nice and being able to removed grims head really cleans up the knee.
The only thing missing would be a proportionate sized head for Volcanicus!
and elbows for the dinobots
Now that you mention it I'm suprised that DNA didn't include one. Sigh...maybe someone else will hear our cries of woe, and make the larger combiner head. 😢

I love it! I can't wait to get a copy of this kit. I'm just suprised DNA didn't include a newer combiner head that scaled better to this. Oh well....Maybe someone else will make a larger volcanicus head for this set. Hopefully with built in "SQUIRREL!" action. LOL😮

funny little tidbit mine came in literally 2 hours before you post this EmGo. I do agree with the beware of tolerances mine also developed small stress marks on swoops new hand and snarl when attaching the guns to the ports. Another point of caution is that the small little ball joints in the combine mode hands fingers will sometimes pop off when moved to far or when trying to attach the combine mode swords. Other than that I absolutely love these upgrade kits, oh and I'm guessing if you got the latter kits pre-orders you also got 2 Blood Red versions of the combine mode swords (BBTS exclusive) and PrimevPrime got a kit with 2 Sky Blue swords (I don't remember where he got his so they could be exclusive to any one of the other online stores that carry the DNA Designs upgrade kits.)
When will this become Dinoking from victory
If I remember correctly it's slated for the 2025 release. So unfortunately it's going to be a while. 😢

@@sar9998 On the bright side you won't have to buy each figure sepretly to make Dino King. He'll be one big boxset. Which means they can add additional accesories to make it more accurate to the original Dino King.

I like the variation that gives him 4 fists. I'd buy it if I had the core class, lol. I saw they make a oversized power of the primes ko, wondering how good those are.
I've heard they're fine. the upgraded one that Emgo shown off in the comparison is the POTP Volcanicus with an upgrade kit that came out for it.
Unfortunately I don't think the OSKO has that upgrade kit as an option. The original scale KO does, the TF Dreame Wave kit Emgo has on his will work with it. Just be mindful which version you're buying.
Just be mindful the engineering is very old by transformers standards.

i like this Volcanicus combiner version it's kinda like ther going like the look of Great Gosaurer because of the triceretop head on the chest
love the upgrade kit, makes him look soo good. maybe someday someone can re engineer sludge's legs to make it look better for robot mode
If you relocate the guns, Base Mode would make a fairly decent core-sized Space Bridge.

Kind of suspicious how there are ports on the bottom seemingly meant specifically for feet parts...
Likely to be used for the upcoming dinoking box set.
They're more slots that probably were for hinges or something.
If they would've sold this initially I might have actually gotten it just because but the stock is such hot garbage...
Combiner wars was the first and okay across the board but with the upgrade Vulcanicus looks sick so it looks great on the shelf now.

It's too bad this relese of Volcanicus was core class. Great if you mess around with Legends/Legion scale toys or other Core Class. But it's too small for normal figures. I really want a bigger scaled Volcanicus to pair up with Power Of The Primes Predaking, and I love Grimlock being the torso.
The pinky fingers keep falling off of my upgrade kit.
