man sucks that the figures with the coolest sculpts and deco have to handle so terribly (this, gcreation ultra maxmas, toyworld freedom leader, etc) hell all three of them even fall to pieces over time it's almost too perfect
The Mastermind Creations ocular max Bruticus is a great set that is ROCK solid. I’ve had it for over a year and it’s still holding the pose I put him in. I really want to get their version of Defensor, too.

I agree about not trusting the company after this. Like, everything was fine BUT Silverbolt, and the problem is they screwed up very, very hard with that and didn't try to fix it, the broken toys being put in the box would 100% blacklist the company from me ever buying from them unless they got their act together. The combined mode is stunning though, I just wish it was more stable and sturdy like Zeta's Superion.
I agree that this set _looks_ fantastic - I was having trouble getting onboard with all the silver because it makes them all look a bit too similar (instead of "the red one" or "the white one" it's just "plane, plane, plane, plane... bigger plane") but it grew on me once I saw the whole group together. The problem is, even if I managed to luck out and have all five turn up with everything intact out of the box initially, I'd still be afraid that I'd get them all assembled and then look at them a little too hard, and they'd burst into flames and explode in a hail of shrapnel and a cloud of vicious bees or something.
first review for this i've seen. good job Emgo. it does look pretty, but yeaaaa not thrilled with the issues. I doubt it will be the last stylized superion we see from someone though.
I went in on this set, and I had all my issues with silverbolt. The limb bots have been great and actually fun to transform. My first silverbolt came in with a broken foot, my second one came with the cannons on his back chipped. I'm leaving this is as my bot mode Airealbots along with my Zeta combined.
I picked up this set too. The limbs were ok. A bit frustrating and fragile in places, but OK. My Silverbolt arrived with the fins broken off the back. First time I moved the shoulders, they fell off with zero actual force used. I went back to ShowZ and got a set of replacement shoulders.... that are now waiting to be installed. I dont necessarily regret this set - I really got it for the individual robot modes - but I certainly wont be picking up their Constructicons.
Absolutely gorgeous set. QC issues definitely brought it down, though. Too bad DreamStar Toys did such a bad job handling these. I was really hoping EmGo would get DEVASTATOR. It looks like only if they send the robots to him to review will he actually get that set.
I know the struggle of getting something to tab in! I recently had trouble getting SS86 Springer's left arm to tab in for transformation! And don't get me started on Kingdom Galvatron! When I first got that part that tabs into the lower part of his chest plate in cannon mode to work, it popped so loudly I thought I had broken something!
Anyone else thinking that the designer for this set was the same as the one who designed the Cang Toys Predacon set? It seems like they have the same esthetic.
I had similar thoughts, to the point where I even looked up if the companies were related. However, the QC And general assembly quality of my Thunderking is way better than what I saw here, and as the review went on I got less and less desire to pick this up. Which is a shame. I like this stylized take on things.

This is one of those sets that you decide how you want to display it then never transform them again. That being said they look good individually and in combined mode.
Considering how the main gun was formed from gun pieces from Silverbolt's weapons, I wonder if the other bots' weapons could be used with those unused heel pistons somehow?

I bowed out prior to the fifth bot being released. Between silverbolts shoulder/hip joint breaking after 2nd transformation and the broken bits in the box from new, and the overall proportions, disappointed to say the least.
ALSO thank you! You found a few things I missed on silverbolt... That's got to be the hardest figure I've ever delt with. Took all bots from plane to combine about 48 hours ago and my finger tips STILL hurt.

DST Superion is one of the most beautiful combiner I have ever laid my eyes on. They are as awesome as they are troublesome. Won't recommend to anybody, though. Looking forward to their Devastator.
Honestly? I doubt this compsny will last much longer considering they literally named silverbolt, well, silverbolt, and thats a big no no, and they would defintrly lose in court if hasbro sued them.
It depends. DX9 named their version of Dragstrip “Dragstrip”. It’s why Hasbro has changed his name to “stunticon Dragstrip”. Hasbro can’t copyright a generic term or word,, so whenever they use one as a name they add something like autobot or Decepticon to the name, making it no longer generic, and allowing them to copyright. If silverbolt is a generic enough word, then Hasbro can’t sue them for copyright infringement
looks great too bad it has so many quality issues. i really wanted to be in on this set but so many bad reviews. I just couldnt do it. too bad because their devastator looks crazy good with the metallic colors.

I managed to get the gap on his left foot shut. You have to wiggle without the thruster engaged. Pain in the butt
