A total lowbuck build. I am LS Swapping this 1965 Impala. This is a complete car rebuild using a donor vehicle for as much of the build as possible. Follow along as the project progresses.Watch me make mistakes...so you don't have to.

Sounds like a fun project.I'm 63,and retired from body/paint work after 42 years. I would recommend welding in those panels you can use weld thru coating to minimize rust from the welds. I had a 65 Impala in 1977 and 78 with a 327/300 hp it was fun. Mine had rust on it just like yours which is why I let it go. A fun car though. Burn outs on the back row at the drive-in leaving. Good times!

I think I will.. my neighbor thought glue in was the way to go. I have always welded them in.

Thanks.. seems to be the view of others as well. I'm on the fence.. I'm waiting on a Trans to be done.. I want to install the driveline with the floors out.. it gives me access to all the new lines and such ... thanks for watching 👍

Oh my goodness don't put a bunch of the interior into that car please. Just sell everything then buy impala interior parts.
