I saw her in the grand theatre swansea, wales, united kingdom maybe 15 years ago. To this day, I still have episodes of prisoner cell block H playing while I work. She was awesome in it :). Legend!
Covid hit and me and my man decided to watch prisoner from the beginning we are now on 672 so i think this next 2 days it will be done we have done this together 2 times prisoner has came into my life every 10 years i missed alot when i was a child as a was 86 child i watched it in bed then when Channel 5 first appeared on tv in Scotland it came on my gran taped it but till i met my husband i had never watched it fully threw but the twice a did watch it fully we were together
Whether she did something or not, I still love her, maybe she did, maybe she didn't, I really don't care, why are we now supposed to hate people the minute they do something wrong. If you like someone, you like them regardless, let ye cast the first stone etc etc!!
Thank goodness Maggie was proved to have done nothing wrong. I have sympathy with your reasoning, but surely there are those that have done such heinous things in their private lives that it is difficult to still consume any of their output. I think of Gary Glitter and Jimmy Saville. Ralf Harris"s fall from grace was a particularly hard one for me. I loved his performances and TV shows over the years and his pop hit Two Little Boys is one of my most treasured pieces of music.
@@GarethColquhoun Thanks for reminding me of my 3 year old comment here. I'm pretty proud of myself for saying that & I stand by it. Every situation is different, so just take it one at a time. But truthfully it's not a fun way to live, waiting to see if it's OK to like something in case the person creating that piece of art might not be too savoury & then who's to judge what's good or bad? If you like something just enjoy it, stand by your choices & your principles & don't let other people bully you into agreeing not to like something. If you really find someone that distasteful, just skip it, art is not compulsory.
I think prisoner wouldn't of word if it wasn't for Maggie.. and also Vera . I think both those women played the part very well I think Maggie was a bit more Mina but that's OK because that's what people want to see get those prison into line . Very good TV 😊💜💙
Love you Maggie. She is INNOCENT!
@FKJM Unfortunately there are many many, people in this world who are accused of stuff like that, who are totally innocent
