Hi Joshua, great informative video! Just wondering, did you ever consider using a seperate app for notes and keep TickTick just for tasks? Or do you like having both in the same place?
Hey there... Yes I have considered and I do consider it. I don't love TickTick for notes, but I do like having it all in one place. But sometimes TickTick does not cooperate with longer notes and becomes a little laggy. What do you use for notes?
Is it possible to set a notification for one task both based on the position and the time as well as an insurance, when the task can be completed at the latest, if I do not arrive in the area? So the notification would pop up depending on what happened sooner, location or the time?
It seems like this is a possibility, but I have not personally tested it out. But it seems like it should work and give you 2 notifications, assuming you haven't completed the task. Let me know if you test it out.
@@JoshuaBest So I tested it manytimes and notification by position doesn't work as it should at all. I solved it with support, they asked for details and then after a week there was no further response. So I uninstalled the application and will stay with google keep, which is free and works correctly with notifications based on position. It's a shame, ticktick could be a great app, but it has important bugs and terrible support not solving it.
Hi Joshua, the Kanban view is a good tip. However the filter feature is available to subscribers alone. Also the free ver of this app doesn't allow more than 9 lists. Would you be able to make one covering one for the free version too? Thanks.
That's a good point. I do use Premium and often forget which features are only available Premium vs Free. I might consider taking a look at how I would setup a Free account. Thanks!
rookie/newbie here. I have been tasked with researching and playing with ticktick and then reportning my findings/recommendations to management. I need to start with the very dummy/idiot from the begining. Where to start on your videos????
I was mind blown by your top task filter! I am not one to comment often but I had to say, Thank you for sharing this!
Thanks! I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Glad it was helpful.
That is a clean setup. Took a few pointers from it. Appreciate the effort you have put in. Thank you.
Is there a way to look at completed tasks, possibly per day?
Hi joshua, very informative, thanks to you i discover ticktick and copy your setup a little bit too, keep going!.
Thanks, will do!
Thanks for sharing! Looking forward for ur next ticktick tutorial hehe
More to come!
@@JoshuaBest yay!!
Thank you, Joshua!
Thank you!! 👍
How to make sure that a completed subtask remains in the list with specific subtasks, and does not shift down to the general list of completed tasks?
Thanks for video!

How have you added a note to your Aquagrove task list?
If you're in a "Task" list then you can add a note by first, adding a task and then, once it's added, right click on it and select "Convert to Note".
Blessed you man

I don’t think there is an option for location based reminders if that is what you are talking about.

I really liked your "A Deep Dive into Getting Things Done (GTD) Using TickTick" did you find this set up didn't really work for you?
