Thanks for a really informative and interesting video. Your knowledge of all the various rug makers is the best on TH-cam. I have a modest collection of rugs from the various countries where I have worked but having a small house I'm hesitant to buy additional carpets. However, if I can purchase another rug I will surely contact you!
You said that the Baluchi are located in the northeast of Iran, but they are located in the southeast of Iran, there is the province which is literally called Baluchistan. I actually went there and visited them. You also said that Bakhtiari are not nomadic anymore, but I literally visited Bakhtiari tribes in their tents in the mountains of Khuzestan. Some are settled down in towns, but others are still nomadic.
Fascinating the history draws your imagination. Thank you for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow bakhtiari are so intricate! They’re all quite lovely.
Это одно из лучших видео на ютубе, которое раскрывает тему именно этих ковров!!!
Рад стараться, чтобы раскрыть всю суть!
Shawn--truly fascinating. I could listen to you all day.
Thank you so much for the info
Thank you so much for this nice video! I could watch it again and again, so beautyful!

Are Gibbeh rugs good for reducing sound?
Can you please help me find out if the one i have is authentic? It was given to me by a wealthy family
How do you tell the difference between Afghan and Iranian tribal rugs, especially given the similar colors and designs?
Thanks so much!
You're welcome!
Have you all ever seen a nomadic version of a Gonbad style?
