Totally appreciate your age and doing this kind of work. Power wash all that crap off before you ever start taking the motor apart. And always loosen that tensioner before ever pulling apart anything with a mating surface

did my valves a few hours ago and all of a sudden my intake valves got really bad. I reshimmed them to speck and put in a new cam chain tensioner for the heck of it. bike starts first kick but I still hear almost a little knock or something ticking, or rattling

Timing might be off
@@BMBradyy How to you time your valves? Cause on youtube only tutorials are about valve shims
My fuel line that was connected to the fuel pump had a little baby hole in it. So it wasn’t holding pressure. Could be same problem with yours
For the yz? Next video I fixed both the 17’ and 14’ yz
