This argument only comes from people who played it through on some gtx 1060 on low settings with horrible bugs but they believe the game miraclously looks and plays better on a better hardware. It does not. I do have a $3000 PC and I say that this game plays even worse. Most of the graphical issues only multiply when you play this game on ultra settings. RTX is just horrible and annihilates the perfomance. Glitchy lightning, shimmering textures - all of that gets even worse when you play the game on better hardware. You can't defend this game. You can only straight up lie about it

The trend of making trailers and cutscenes infinitely better looking than the game, teasing stories, moments and features that never appear, should come to and end. Everything made it seem like playing this game would be like immersing yourself in the highest quality movie-like experience with unprecedented physics visuals & graphics. watching all these videos it looks and plays worse than most games that have been released in the last decade, good lord. I can’t imagine being hyped for 8 years and then sitting down to play this. Goes to show why game development should never be rushed for holiday-sales deadlines or any other reason
What makes this even worse is by CD Projekt Red delaying the game twice, they gave people the expectation of "Well, it sucks the game is delayed, but at least the bugs will be worked out." Being more forthcoming throughout the development process and not sweeping issues under the rug would have been much better for their reputation in the long run.
Looks? On pc it’s a gorgeous game. No denying it, There are TH-cam videos comparing the E3 reveal graphics vs actual gameplay and MOST of the time it looks much sharper and better in the release version (on pc obviously) on console this game is absolute shit 😔
actually doing comparisons from the 2018 gameplay trailer the graphics were improved and they had told ppl some features won't be in the game and were pretty straight forward not only that it's still a very immersive experience I'm playing it on ps4 and I am upset that on the previous generation consoles it looks like garbage but the game itself is fun the story interesting and I haven't dealt with any serious game breaking bugs so yeah I'm slightly annoyed at most being someone who's waited so long
It would probably be in Internet Historian's best interest to wait a while, potentially a few years, to see if the game pulls a No Man's Sky or Destiny and turns into something worth playing.
I don't want the flying car that crashes into the street to be fixed either. It could be made to be part of a quest line. Same goes for the part where after you get into a car, another car crashes into you and the offending driver has the nerve to insult you for a crash that HE caused.

Worst part is that you are very close to the truth, originally Johny Silverhand would be a minor character to be used as an optional hero for V, but once Keanu Reeves got on board they tried to capitalize on him and greatly expanded Johny's role in the game, however, this was almost 2 years ago, about the same time when the 2018 footage was shown on e3, meaning the writers had to rewrite and remake the entire story in 2 years

I think we all owe apologies to Duke Nukem Forever and Aliens: Colonial Marines. Don't get me wrong, they still had terrible launches, and they are forever stained by the touch of Randy Pitchford, but... I don't think their glitches and bugs were ever on a scale quite the same as this.
Funny thing is, it's been listed out in multiple articles that on release there is no concurrent Next Gen version that is until later next year once the Next gen versions are ready lol. So what ever they leased out to the console industry is meant to be played on PS4 or the XB1. Anything else on PS5 and XBX is played through backwards compatibility.
The Last of Us 2 is far more detailed and it runs perfectly. Yes it's definitely a smaller game, but the detail in the world is insane. It's clear this game was not finished in any aspect

I really hate when people defend the games performance on last gen with the whole "what did you expect, it's a next gen game playing on 7 year old hardware" like, yeah excuse me for expecting the game I paid $60 for to work
This argument only comes from people who played it through on some gtx 1060 on low settings with horrible bugs but they believe the game miraclously looks and plays better on a better hardware. It does not. I do have a $3000 PC and I say that this game plays even worse. Most of the graphical issues only multiply when you play this game on ultra settings. RTX is just horrible and annihilates the perfomance. Glitchy lightning, shimmering textures - all of that gets even worse when you play the game on better hardware. You can't defend this game. You can only straight up lie about it

I just don't get why people think that "last gen" consoles are absolutely crap. it's like nah you could run Skyrim on a console gen before that and Skyrim does alot more than this game does.

It ran "best" on PC at launch, but it was still horrifically broken. Only people who have played a year after release with a ton of day late and dollar short hotfixes and patches because of the anime could claim it isn't horrifically broken.
Honestly I think most the budget went towards ads, paying off critics to lie about it (looking at you yongyea), and having bots and shills astroturf comments online.

The trend of making trailers and cutscenes infinitely better looking than the game, teasing stories, moments and features that never appear, should come to and end. Everything made it seem like playing this game would be like immersing yourself in the highest quality movie-like experience with unprecedented physics visuals & graphics. watching all these videos it looks and plays worse than most games that have been released in the last decade, good lord. I can’t imagine being hyped for 8 years and then sitting down to play this. Goes to show why game development should never be rushed for holiday-sales deadlines or any other reason
What makes this even worse is by CD Projekt Red delaying the game twice, they gave people the expectation of "Well, it sucks the game is delayed, but at least the bugs will be worked out." Being more forthcoming throughout the development process and not sweeping issues under the rug would have been much better for their reputation in the long run.
Looks? On pc it’s a gorgeous game. No denying it, There are TH-cam videos comparing the E3 reveal graphics vs actual gameplay and MOST of the time it looks much sharper and better in the release version (on pc obviously) on console this game is absolute shit 😔

actually doing comparisons from the 2018 gameplay trailer the graphics were improved and they had told ppl some features won't be in the game and were pretty straight forward not only that it's still a very immersive experience I'm playing it on ps4 and I am upset that on the previous generation consoles it looks like garbage but the game itself is fun the story interesting and I haven't dealt with any serious game breaking bugs so yeah I'm slightly annoyed at most being someone who's waited so long

There is a part of me that doesn't want the comically timed T-posing to be fixed
I don't want the flying car that crashes into the street to be fixed either. It could be made to be part of a quest line.
Same goes for the part where after you get into a car, another car crashes into you and the offending driver has the nerve to insult you for a crash that HE caused.
Yeah they don’t really need to fix this, just need to make it looks prettier and we are set. Like the T-posing could just be the way people greet eachother in 2077. And we have been teasing flying car before the 2000s, it’s 2077, cars should be flying at this point already.

Worst part is that you are very close to the truth, originally Johny Silverhand would be a minor character to be used as an optional hero for V, but once Keanu Reeves got on board they tried to capitalize on him and greatly expanded Johny's role in the game, however, this was almost 2 years ago, about the same time when the 2018 footage was shown on e3, meaning the writers had to rewrite and remake the entire story in 2 years

They only did it because cd project thought it was in a “good enough” state to be playable. So in other words, if cd project actually put the time and investment into this game, it would have actually been good.

The people saying "well what do you expect on last gen?" I expect a game sold for a console to work for a console.
Funny thing is, it's been listed out in multiple articles that on release there is no concurrent Next Gen version that is until later next year once the Next gen versions are ready lol. So what ever they leased out to the console industry is meant to be played on PS4 or the XB1. Anything else on PS5 and XBX is played through backwards compatibility.
The Last of Us 2 is far more detailed and it runs perfectly. Yes it's definitely a smaller game, but the detail in the world is insane. It's clear this game was not finished in any aspect

The problem is that so many people serioulsy accept such a game. They say: "Ooh, okay, after they brought out 500 patches and updates and killed all the bugs in the next 2 years I will be okay with the game." Besiedes all the problems that have nothing to do with the bugs this is a total no-go. This game is crap, it´s broken, it´s a total catastrophe. Every player should get a complete refund. And it´s not only the christmas time that the game was released this years. It´s the fact that the game is basing on the Pen & Paper game Cyberpunk2020!
I pre ordered this game but after passing the main story (23hours just about), I'm definitely won't be touching this game again. At least not any time soon.

@@Walamonga1313 I recall the first presentation back in 2012 where the guy on stage said: "We are gonna make a Cyberpunk game. No, it will not be A Cyberpunk game, it will be THE Cyberpunk game." And over the last 8 year they were announcing and announcing and announcing all the revolutionary stuff that would make our jaws drop. And in the end, what did we got? An amateurish programmed game with non existing A.I. and content that is below average and decorated with a lot of bugs and glitches. Shame on those people and shame on people that are still buying this game!
Quite right. Eventually, after the patches, after they add DLC to fill out the empty world, then, and only then, will I pirate it because they still don't deserve money for all this bullshit and lying.

Yeah it's really surprising how many people think this is a "glitch" and how often it shows the person never played the game.
Also you can kill that guy in the elevator in the heist mission when he glitches out you don’t have to restart
As someone who had 0 interest in the game I played through up until the title sequence with (surprisingly) very few graphical glitches. I absolutely disliked the core gameplay and design. Then I ran into actual game breaking glitches and noped on outta there.
