Defence is not winning himself any ground with this ridiculous line of questioning and I think it will backfire horribly as he looks more like an unprincipled muck-raker whilst Dippolito, even though he did his crime, comes across as having turned his life around from a terribly unsupported childhood and is looking more trustworthy than the Def.Att.; Dippolito did his time and he has paid his dues ... all of them! Furthermore, none of this has anything to do with Dalia's intention to wipe him off the face of the earth which, after all, is why we are all here.
I dont understand why Mike D. Is on trial here he paid for his crimes. Why are they treating him like hes the one that hired the hit man. The prosecution needs to keep objecting to these questions the defense lawyer is asking. He paid his dues leave him alone.
Well, this shows again... when you are married, keep it in your pants. If he would have been faithful to his first wife, he never would have gotten into it with his one
You are coolcalm and delusional....no matter what he did in his past, it didn’t constitute his potential murder. She is the criminal in this situation, and only her. Maybe you can visit her or become her pen pal since you’re so quick to dismiss her criminal behavior.
Michael got dragged through broken glass all because of his involvement with Dalia...a case of the little head thinking for the big head. Seems as though he was being put on trial for crimes he had been convicted of and paid restitution for in full. The focus should be on Dalia, not Michael...he was the victim.
I understand that everyone deserves a defense, but i do not see how an attorney can attack a victim in an effort to minimize the sentence of their client which has been found guilty.
It’s really one of the worst parts of America’s justice system. I’ve even seen children who are the victim of horrific crimes being scrutinized, ruthlessly interrogated on the stand, & made to look bad. It oftentimes re-traumatizes the victim & it’s so unfair. I’ve seen a woman who was lit on fire by her boyfriend, burned head to toe & laying in a hospital bed being absolutely destroyed by the defense. It was so sad to watch. There needs to be some limits.
It's white noise when the lawyers approach the bench so the gallery and jury won't hear them. Thank God someone who recorded this cut the white noise as they approached the bench.
This really sucks. Mr. Dippolito did his time and his probation period with no problems from him. No thanks at all to his then-wife Dahlia who tried to have him arrested when she had her friends plant drugs at least twice in his truck to GET him arrested and sent back to prison for breaking his parole agreement. She stole his money that was supposed to go to his attorney and then wrote a bad check to cover it. She also tricked him into putting HIS house in her name so she could take that too when he was sent back to prison. But when those plans didn't pan out for her and she realized that he would still be able to claim the house...she decided to kill him instead and ALL of this was within the first months they were married. Mr. Dippolito was no saint BUT he did his time and paid people back. Dahlia Dippolito is also doing her time now and when she is done she will be also doing her probation and she had better hope that she does not run into a man that does the same thing to her that she did to Mr. Dippolito. She will need to learn how to work at a real job instead of conning men out of their money and property, we shall see how that goes for her when she gets out.
What do his convictions have to do with the crime dalia committed? Ridiculous! This is why people hate defense lawyers. At least Mike admits to what he did and went to prison. Unlike dalia and her defense who were able to get three trials on a case that was open and shut. What an absolute waste of money.

None of this should be admissable! He's already been tried and convicted, it was before his marriage and what's it got to do with her trying to kill him? Common sense should be the number one thing used in everything everyday especially in court hearings!!!!
That's it! MR. Dippolito is GUILTY AS CHARGED! LOCK HIM UP! Mrs Dippolitto we are very sorry for troubling you. your husband should get at least 100 years in prison.
Monk Kenyon, They have to watch every step/word to prevent “opening the door” to avoid topics that will allow questions by the state on cross examination when she testifies--it’s very trickery--like the whole idea of a 3’d trial--total BS. It would be great if this added 8 years to jail time. One has to admire Mike’s comportment throughout. They’re obviously trying to catch him in a lie + they can’t, because HE is not a liar.
Using phrases like "when you swindled" is completely argumentative and prejudicial to the witness. He keeps repeating asked and answered questions, and the worse thing he's doing is trying to put the witness on trial. His past crimes have absolutely nothing to do with the facts of the case. As if a crime he paid his dues for is justification for Dalia's murder for hire plot.

Claypool is never prepared. He takes so long to....? What is he doing? He is stuttering stanley....most of the time. He is constantly apologizing he should think before he speaks. How did he become a lawyer. He sucks!!!
Agree!!! This is strange
I don't think I've ever heard a more truthful person on the stand than Mike Dippolito.
what's wrong with these defense lawyers they are drilling mike like he's the one who is on trial
So apparently if you're going to murder someone, just make sure that they have a criminal record and then it's all good???
The defense lawyers are just Scumbags... Michael handled it nicely.
Victim blaming...nice!
You are coolcalm and delusional....no matter what he did in his past, it didn’t constitute his potential murder. She is the criminal in this situation, and only her. Maybe you can visit her or become her pen pal since you’re so quick to dismiss her criminal behavior.
NOTHING IN MY LIFE WISHED LIKE SEEN THOSE TWO lawyers LOSE
Michael got dragged through broken glass all because of his involvement with Dalia...a case of the little head thinking for the big head. Seems as though he was being put on trial for crimes he had been convicted of and paid restitution for in full. The focus should be on Dalia, not Michael...he was the victim.
The defense attorney's haircut and suit fit are absurd. Also Dippolito looks exactly like a young Paul Sorvino. It's uncanny.
What does any of this have to do with her murder for hire charges.
It is hard to say who is on trial so far.
You'd NEVER know Mike is the funkin victim Wtf this is disgusting
26:06 - Claypool is a complete snake. He'll try anything.
S P 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍
I agree ☝️
that's job .. certified snake
That's because he had nothing to work with.
Wtf is wrong with the volume
It's white noise when the lawyers approach the bench so the gallery and jury won't hear them. Thank God someone who recorded this cut the white noise as they approached the bench.
mrip75......Then it should be edited out with an explanation in the description box.
It’s for when the lawyers approach the bench.
Dippolito. She will need to learn how to work at a real job instead of conning men out of their money and property, we shall see how that goes for her when she gets out.
lawyers are so sleazy.
Is it true u did this u did that what about what she did
And again... no questions that pertain to her defense of “it was all a hoax”
A lotta damn approaching the bench sheesh
defense attorney= If Sponge Bob and Pee Wee Herman had a son.
Whyyyyyy are they Raking this guy?? He’s not on trial here! He made mistakes and fixed them! He wasn’t the one that tried to kill her!
15:57 sleaze bag lawyer, quickly withdrew from this line of questioning! Anything to do with the fact that client is prozzy!!!🤔🤭🤣
This bloody defence lawyer is an ABSOLUTE ABSOLUTE disgrace to the bar.😡😤😠
Christ who's on trial here Michael or Dalia
Why is the victim on trial, how does the vamp get away with him looking like the crim
Her lawyer fell for her BS and now they look like cornballs!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mike should have told him, he robbed a bank to get that money.
Her lawyer is from ACME LEGAL SERVICES.
What do his convictions have to do with the crime dalia committed? Ridiculous! This is why people hate defense lawyers. At least Mike admits to what he did and went to prison. Unlike dalia and her defense who were able to get three trials on a case that was open and shut. What an absolute waste of money.
Wow what a fantastic ::sniff sniff:: attorney this guy is
It looks like he is on the hook not her... Completely irrevelant question aimed to attack his character.. This is called "Red Herring"
He is so credible. Given he’s overcome his past deeds, he is remarkably grounded and likable. I’m on Team Michael’s side here.
They are treating this guy likes he's on trial and not the victim.
Sound???
This defense attorney lays claim to being the worst ever
Isn't it true that in 1990 you failed to help and old lady across the street and you shorted the Pizza guy 40 cents...?
Michael is the Honest & Victim man here. Glad he got justice in the end & Evil Manipulative Failed Murderer put away in jail!
Who is the defendant at this trial and who the victim? That's bs, what that lawyer is trying.
Deny her sin yet blame him for his past which he is paying for.
Is the defense attorney high??? 🤷🏾♀️
Dude, next time think with your upper head!
-Woman trys to kill man with damning evidence.
-Ok... Man takes woman to trail based on that evidence
-Man gets put on trail instead
- Also man: ....wait a minute
🤣🤣🤣
And how did the judges on this case allowed this freak Show circus go on 9 yrs is beyond me
Thats all these defence attorney's do, make out everyone else is in the wrong or to blame other then the one they are defending. I'm so glad Mike stood his ground and was honest about his past criminal background. He made big mistakes but he owned them all. I hope he is having a good life now.
None of this should be admissable! He's already been tried and convicted, it was before his marriage and what's it got to do with her trying to kill him? Common sense should be the number one thing used in everything everyday especially in court hearings!!!!
The only point they could be making is it's okay that you tried to kill him because he committed a crime ??
That's it! MR. Dippolito is GUILTY AS CHARGED! LOCK HIM UP! Mrs Dippolitto we are very sorry for troubling you. your husband should get at least 100 years in prison.
I wonder how she paid such high profile lawyers
It’s disgraceful that the defence attorney tries to make Mike Dippolito look like the criminal charged here..?
Is it just me or does anyone else think that Dalia’s attorney sounds just like the coach on Friday night lights TV show. Kyle Chandler!
She's a Muslim. Look it up. In FL prison her name is Dalia MOHAMED...!
Why does that have anything to do with anything
Just because she has an Arabic name doesn't mean she's a Muslim.
He looks like he should have a nickname like "Mikey Dips from the Bronx" or something mob 😂
Is anyone in this case prepared? The gaps between questioning is pretty baffling.
Monk Kenyon,
They have to watch every step/word to prevent “opening the door” to avoid topics that will allow questions by the state on cross examination when she testifies--it’s very trickery--like the whole idea of a 3’d trial--total BS. It would be great if this added 8 years to jail time. One has to admire Mike’s comportment throughout. They’re obviously trying to catch him in a lie + they can’t, because HE is not a liar.
Why does the video constantly lower the cone of silence?
Using phrases like "when you swindled" is completely argumentative and prejudicial to the witness. He keeps repeating asked and answered questions, and the worse thing he's doing is trying to put the witness on trial. His past crimes have absolutely nothing to do with the facts of the case. As if a crime he paid his dues for is justification for Dalia's murder for hire plot.
Is this lawful?? He had hid trial, plead guilty and paid the price. This is outrageous.
The defense is that Michael was such a bad guy he deserved to be taken out
How is it admissable what he did in his prior years. He is not on trial here. Why isn't the State screaming Objection...Irrelevant.
Claypool lawyer: Mister Dippolito, where were you the day Abraham Lincoln was shot?
Mike is not on trial here! What is the line of questioning about! His prior crimes made her solicit a hitman🤦🏾♀️please 😢
Mike is a good guy, he paid back the money, went to jail, took it as a man and now has to deal with that greedy b***, he doesn't deserve that. She never showed any remorse and keeps lying, I guess she deserves where she is at.
Retrial recordings only about victim past and what about the criminal exwife past??? Any video about it???
Why is the VICTIM being persecuted on the stand when it is Dahlia is on trial, this whole questioning is a travesty and I wouldn't use this lawyer if my life was depended on it he is just GRAND STANDING.
What the heck does any of these questions have to do with her wanting him dead?
