I just played this game again last month from start to finish. Unlike last time I actually upgraded all my weapons etc. It's still a very fun and entertaining game to play. The story is....okay but the gameplay is what makes it enjoyable. The death scenes are epic lol felt like I was playing DeadSpace watching the death scenes lol

it's still one of the best looking and smoothest framerate gameplay experiences on playstation 4 it's weird how it happened. Arkham knight stands out as well for that. Sound design is phenomenal too. Guns are actually LOUD in this entire tomb raider series like they should be. Other games really nerf gun sounds. You feel the impact of these weapons.

I've probably played this games 3 times over the past few years, the game never gets old it's always so good
Man, this brought so many memories, such a good trilogy, and really damn underrated.
I personally enjoyed the hell out of the tomb raider games!
The trilogy was surprisingly very good, I also bought it as a deal and man I enjoyed every minute of it, especially rise of the tomb raider which really improved upon the first game. Really hope this turns into a series hollow and once again thanks for everything man, we all love you❤️

I just Finished this game and Rise of The Tomb Raider! The Trilogy was Free Last Christmas on Epic so I got the chance to experience this First Hand.

Easily one of my favorite RPGs I've ever touched, spent many hours playing this alongside my uncle on the good old PS3 🤣 Love the Japanese influence in this game, definitely drew me into the story more. Looks gorgeous on PC! Enjoy the game brotha 🤙

I had this on 360. I got past all this and got pretty far. I saved the game and every time I would load it back up she would fall off the map. It was a bad glitch. I didn’t wanna start the journey over so I sold the game. It was pretty good though.

This was the best one! Excellent pacing and the story was intriguing as well. Disappoint final boss fight for sure, but man, what a game. Too bad the games got progressively worse, but ehh. Still a bomb trilogy.
I have to say I didn't care much for it's narrative to be brutally honest. 🤔🙈 Nice game though, awesome action and game mechanics. 👍 The QTE'S wore thin after all a while too though. 🙄 Enjoyable overall.

Recently played this for the first time and it was surprisingly a very good game
I played this about 5 years ago the definitive edition which was absolutely great graphics improvement on lighting it's a shame that they didn't keep this same Laura look in Shadow of the tomb raider I'm sure you already have found out this would be the first one rise is second shadow is the end of the series but this was a great game..
Yeah the 1st game had a slight difference in her character design between the regular and definitive editions. You are right that they seemed to carry over the regular version more so than the definitive, but even then there were slight changes from each game that can be attributed to her aging and her experiences in life.
I've played this game over a hundred times from start to finish. Its simplicity in gameplay style is so addicting. This trilogy is the most fun adventure games out there so its nice seeing you get back to this. I love how this game still holds up after nearly a decade.
This trilogy was amazing. I grew up playing the tomb raider games when I was younger, from the demos on ps to the games my dad had to these. Each game got better than the last and I still play rise and shadow when I can. Glad to see you're playing the first one of the trilogy

Hollow don't know how to tell you this but in your first attempt at the tomb raider game you bypassed a lot of relics documents and stuff like that even GPS is and those are what you need to further gain extra experience and level up your character more it's the same with all the tomb raider games the more stuff you collect the more experience you get the more you can level up your character unlock new abilities just a friendly piece of advice for any future tomb raider games you may want to do that as well and I'm a big fan of your videos keep doing what you're doing
Fun throwback ! However this game was released in 2013 and uncharted 4 was released in 2016. So uncharted has the climbing tools like in Tomb Raider. Not the other way round.
Also ‘uncharted substitute’ ?? Not like the TR franchise has been around since the late 90s.
This game is one of my fav. games to play! I really enjoyed playing it and have gone back and played it multiple times! I think you should make it into a series! It gets even better!

I love Tomb Raider! I kinda grew up with it. Loved the riddles and especially the scenery. I eventually stopped playing it because it got too easy. Too many clues, slowmotion options in fighting scenes, etc.Also there are no more real parts where you only have a short amount of time to solve or run through something. I remember in one game (maybe the first TR?!) where you had invisible platforms. Like how on earth would someone have guessed that without trying and jumping for hours? 😀
Anyway I still enjoy watching gameplays of TR. I'm in the middle of your Shadow of the TR series right now and hope you'll be doing a full gameplay on this one right here too. 🙂

I feel like we needed more locations that reminded us of ancient cultural ruins. Places we have never seen before, that fills the blanks of what an archeological find from a unfamiliar existence of a unknown way of life with their unique beauty. That made much of the experience memorable, in the early tomb raider games. The latest installments focuses more of a emphasis on story line dialog. If only they can combine the beauty of past locations with a equally beautiful story. I still love it either way.

I don't know why they destroyed Lara's face on Definitive Edition, head is so big and put a makeup on her face. And also hair physics is downgraded, overall just a colorful graphics and saturated.
