This game is truly incredible. I’m so happy to watch you experience this masterpiece for the first time. This, heavy rain, Detroit become human, until dawn. They are fantastically made. They would have made excellent movies or tv series but I’m so happy that they took video games in this decision based direction.

I remember Heavy Rain getting mad love when it dropped but then I saw someone like Hollow play it some a year or two ago and it didn’t appear to age well.
Is that also true? Or was it just me?
@@mattpenix8438 heavy rain is great as a mystery and twist ending. It’s got some action/dark parts and it starts off with an emotional story, to kickstart your love for the characters. I still think the game is great, captures a lot of emotion, but I also love true crime. So it really makes you have to investigate to put the entire picture together.
I would suggest Detroit become human. It’s a very outside of the box game. It’ll touch your heart for sure. The music in it is also heart wrenching and I watch the music soundtracks here on TH-cam from time to time when nothing else really hits the spot music wise. You grow really attached to all of the characters and get to see the effects of AI in a futuristic society from every different angle. The ending possibilities are also massive as there is three different protagonists with different story arcs that you’re playing at the same time, that all effect one another. I don’t own a PlayStation anymore so when I want to relive it real bad I’ll watch Dylanisintrouble play it 😂.
Souls also has a very beautiful story to it. And as long as you don’t mind some mystery as to how she gets her power (sometimes it feels awful to wait but I promise the wait is worth it) the story is action packed and it’s very emotional. The main character goes through a lot of different phases and chapters in her life, With her senses helping her along the way. The ending is immaculate and when I played it for the first time I was crying my eyes out as I finished.
Until dawn is a great horror survival game and there’s twists and turns all along the way. Very little decisions decide some pretty big factors into how it plays out. The story is twisted and dark, has a good amount of jump scares, and you will be guessing the whole time. But it’s along the same lines as heavy rain in some way. It’s truly a fantastic game but if what you’re looking for is something that blows your mind but also has a deeper message to it, I suggest Detroit become human every time.
Let me also say though, you wont be disappointed with any of these games. It just depends on your mood that day, as to which game you want to dive into. But once you do, it’s hard not to play until it’s done. They all have a great way of keeping you on your toes and wanting to find out what happens next. they are all incredible and you chose a lot of good ones.
I’ll have to check out the quarry cause I’ve never heard of it and I’ve been wanting another decision based game to dive into

I would put money on the Duffer Bros having played Beyond Two Souls before writing Stranger Things. There are soooo many parallels between Jodie and Eleven...right up to the most recent season finale even.

I’m originally from the northeast. Snow is great the first couple snowfalls. But the winter drags and can be depressing.
I’ve since moved to SoCal and while the weather is perfect year round, I do miss the beauty and quietness of a snowfall! It’s definitely something everyone should experience..
I came back to watch this gameplay. Just love this, emotional and interesting story, amazing characters and game is very beautiful. And i like the way Hollow playing this, you took your time and dont hyrry up things.
Snow is not depressing at all!!! It’s beautiful and magical and you can do all kinds of fun stuff in it!!! I’m sure it’s probably depressing to people who don’t like the cold, but I love it and would always want you to live somewhere where we could experience 4 seasons!

I think the reviews of this were garbage because it's less of a game and more of an interactive story... if that makes sense. Even so, it is a very VERY underrated story. I'm so glad I finally remembered what it was called so that I could watch another playthrough.
I bought this in a bundle with heavy rain, started with heavy rain and I loved it, then I played this game and I was blown away by the story and the game in general, it holds a special place in my heart, so to say 😅
And I enjoy the fact, that your play style is pretty similar to mine - checking out everything, every nook and cranny of games will be explored 😆

To answer your snow question, when I lived in Colorado and it snowed I never looked at it as depressing. I liked change in scenery it gave, the activities you could do when it did snow, and when in snowed in December it helped give me that Christmas feeling. That was a long time ago though so I don’t know if I’d feel the same about it now.

Hollow, play Medal of Honor 2010. This game has possibly one of the best story lines I’ve ever played. Also considering the fact that the campaign is based on true story.

Quantity Dream games are extras but Beyond: Two Souls absolutely broke my heart. It is so so powerful. I’ve platinumed it on PS3 and PS4 which means getting all 28 endings. The non-chronological order is much more powerful as you aren’t fed the answers to the story.

This was one of my favorite games on PS3 and I also have the PS4 remaster. The story was a lot deeper than I expected it to be. The game is also visually stunning and really immerses you into the story. One of the top dozen games on PS3 for sure!
When it snows. It can get boring, if you are the kind of person who can't just relax. If you are that kind of person. Get a fireplace and you have something to do all winter.
But if you go out have walks, and go sledding. It can be pretty fun.

I just beat this yesterday. I was very interested in it when I saw the trailer years ago. I never got around to playing it until a month ago. For a 9 year old PS3 game, the graphics are phenomenal. The game is amazing.

Its not the snow that is depressing, its the lack of sunlight during the wintermonths. In Sweden at least thats a big problem, I know a lot of people, me included, that gets really depressed during that time.

Out here in Denver, is snows a lot in the winter. Sometimes we watch movies, sometimes we go to the mountains, and other times we play in the snow. But no, it's definitely not depressing.

@Hollow Snow is a wonderous sight to behold, the purity, the sereness, and beauty. I'm a cold weather person, and I mover further north were is snows more often, its definitely more satisfying to have a blanket of white covering the land when the holidays come around, it's magical. Standing on a bluff deep into the forest when it snows is breathtaking.

I live in North Dakota, and winters are depressing, because it’s dark by 4-5pm and gloomy most days, for like 8 months of the year. But, the summers are beautiful and the sun doesn’t set until 9:30pm.

I live right on the boarder of NY and Canada and I will tell you it is DEFINITELY depressing the snow isn't the issue it's the freezing temperatures you can't even enjoy playing in the snow cuz it's so cold most of the time and you don't want to drive anywhere cuz it's so dangerous so many people die just trying to get to work or school also I live in a small town and there isn't much for families to do indoors during the winter but if you want to do anything you have to spend quite a bit of money to have fun beaches and playgrounds aren't an option. Idk if you'll ever read this but if you do I definitely suggest a vacation up to the Adirondack mountains to enjoy the beautiful winter and fall views but for the sake of your mental health never move here! One day we will find a way to move out west, that's the dream anyway. Love your channel ❤

About the snow, its a different vibe from the rest of the weather and can have a very distinct feeling that can change depending on your day. For instance if its a lazy day spent indoors watching the snow fall out the window and listening to the blustering wind howl can be pretty relaxing and the whited out sky looks so serene. But if the snow is melting and you're stuck commuting home and walking through black slushy snow it can feel worse than a rainy day outside with no umbrella. But being outside during the first snowfall is a cool experience. It really depends but personally the first snowfall for me is welcome every time and I look forward to it. Think about how different all the seasons are compared to each other. A hot Summer day lying on the beach or sitting under the shade on the cool grass feels different than feeling a cool Autumn breeze while sipping hot coffee sitting on a park bench. Think about the feeling you get sitting at home listening to the rain fall on your window. I think its pretty great especially because there are empty quiet streets for the most part and its very peaceful to be out at that time depending on your area.

I love the snow. I'm glad that we only get about 4 months of summer where I live. Snow is beautiful, calming, and just makes me smile. The clouds turn purple, and it's just something that fills ya with childlike excitement, it starts to snow, and it's wonderland. Uh, I can't wait for winter

Im from Sweden and i must say that winter and snow can be very beautifull. Both summer and winter has its charm. The only depressing thing for some people is the darkness we have here in the nordics during winter
I was introduced to that game through a date I had some years ago. The person had a PS3 and suggested we have a gaming night together. I couldn't put it down, and the date turned out to last till dawn, I don't remember feeling that sad or a video game character.
I lived in canada and yes the snow sometimes can be depressing but we are so use to it that didn't matter.
I live in Texas now but raised in New Jersey, snow is what I miss the most.

I'm from the Midwest unfortunately. I love the aesthetic of snow and the smell of the weather, but it's dangerous. There can be black ice under blankets of snow which can cause a wreck, if your vehicle gets blocked by snow you either can't go anywhere or have to spend a lot of time shoveling it out of the way, you have to plan to defrost your windows and sometimes even your tires before you go anywhere, you have to make sure your tires are pretty much the best option for snowy weather or ain't no way you're traveling safely, when you drive you have to do so slowly and carefully or you'll slide around, you have to keep your faucets trickling or your pipes could freeze overnight. There's just a lot of cons to it. It'll get into the negatives here in Missouri and it's painful to stay outside for more than a couple minutes. The worst is the wind chill. But other than that, it is quite pretty to witness. That's all it's good for though, is feeling cozy at home lol
