Heads up, those are actually Stormtroopers, Clone Troopers got phased out shortly after Order 66. (A way I like to think about it, Clone Troopers are all one man cloned for an Army whilst Stormtroopers are closer to the real Military, people recruited into their ranks). I believe the lore reason is because it's cheaper. (Plus the emperor really didn't need an Imperial Order 66-like Situation happening). Battlefront 2 actually has a level where Stormtroopers fight the Phase 1 Clone troopers. (The pointy fin ones) the Kaminoans made in retaliation of the Empire, resulting in the Empire wiping out Tipoca City (along with maybe the rest of Kamino. I don't remember for sure)
Kamino was also wiped out because Palpatine was trying to remove anything related to clones in fear of anyone figuring out what he did and using it against him. The bad batch showcases this
I found a similar thing with the Falcon in Betrayal Over Bespin. By entering the final room and backtracking, the Falcon does not open its door after defeating all the stormtroopers in the final area. This must be because the game thinks the door is already open due to the ending trigger already being active. I always thought this was a softlock and had to restart the level, but I think using a small character allows you to touch the trigger.
Yes, the same sort of thing works on that level! We have known about this since it was found in Death Star Escape, but in the past few days we've found a way to make it fast for full game runs. What good timing on this comment!
So that’s how my brother and I did that. I have no idea how we managed to do all the steps for falconless on accident. Granted we weren’t very smart children and regularly backtracked after getting stuck on should be easy parts of mission.
I remember hating this level as a kid because of those stupid carts that control like garbage where you have to drive over the buttons in quick succession.
@@viola4344 doesn’t really make a difference what game it was, nor didn’t mention a game, I only I remember doing it man if you know wich one it was lmk because I’d download it and play it again
Who hasn't accidentally said stormtrooper/clone trooper when you were referring to the opposite? You guys are too obsessed with this one mistake, chill.

Came to the comments expecting to see StarWars fans up in arms for him misnaming stormtroopers as clone troopers. Forgot these are actually LEGO Star Wars fans, they just hate LEGO, not starwars fans, they were actually pretty nice about it.
Clone troopers? You'll be a wanted man in 12 systems for saying that.
I'll be careful.
@@Chimkin "YOU'LL BE [OOF]D!"
I mean going by og Battlefront 2 there were clones on the death star. XD
@ENDfilms44 Ah, but what are the chances that all like 100 of the enemies you encounter are clones from the 501st?
its crazy to think if they just made the level a little bit different it would be different
No fucking shit
Holy moly he destroyed you
take that wiisuper
Never thought of that
Legend himself!
I keep wincing every time he calls Stormtroopers “Clonetroopers”
2:30 a massive group of WHAT?!?!?
Lego Star Wars documentaries are easily one of the best things in the world. This included.
3:15 Obvious? I'm confused... There's just a bunch of stormtroopers surrounding one of their own?
"It was relegated to obscure speedrunning lore."
Obi-Wan: "Thats... why I'm here."
3:10 idk man it looks like just a bunch of clonetroopers to me
2:26 clone troopers

I love you so much, thank you so much for doing this for us to entertain, keep it up!
I also love Chimkin so much
@@Itsjared97 Hes just actually bringing informative and positive stuff, he's so good
4:05 I hate this part casually still to this day, love this game through 😊
Epic Video 😎
"A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one"
I don't know shit about the Lego Star Wars speedrun community but this was fun to listen at, amazing video
I love niche speedrunning documentaries in abt to watch tf out of this video

I remember clipping into the falcon on the ds by accident, but it just softlocks you there. It was probably in lsw2 with how buggy that one was
1:35 entire video was immediately invalidated after he said Clone Troopers
New chimkin video lets go!

great stuff chimkin
excellent video dude, great speedrunning analysis 🧐 Summoning Salt would be proud
another chimkin documentary🔥🔥🔥
“Grapple jump” I thought that’s how you was SUPPOSED to do that one jump lol always used it
Neat! I wonder if you were doing it before the speedrunning community formally discovered it
@@Chimkin I couldn’t say ! It was early, back on the psp version of the game, say 2006-2009?

One of the best levels imo
Did you seriously call the Storm Troopers Clone Troppers?!
Funny how the Death Star level ended up the most flawed...
Another chimkin banger

Do you know that after making dive roll, Han Solo can shoot 3 bolts twice fast?
great video but the audio's a little rough
yeah I had some issues with that. Rerecorded it all a couple times but I need to change something about my recording setup for next time I guess.
did something go wrong with the audio?
many things yes
Very good video on a very bad level chimkin !
Great video but it’s STORMTROOPERS
