@ hahah respect bro i’m definitely doing that for my powershot you’re a genius. i was also interested in what inspired you with the cropping in throughout the video because it adds so much character i love it. reminds me of some golf le fleur adds by tyler the creator with the contrasting framing, especially with that warm aesthetic over all. can’t wait to catch more content boss
So I actually had two cameras setup side by side and I cut between them. I did it to get close up details and to help cover up cuts in the editing. Really happy to hear you notice the little details though. I think i know the advert you're on about the one with the bus crash, that one was soo good.
I just found your channel today and I'm enjoying your content. I was a magazine shooter back in the film days and when digital dslr's were 2-4 megapixels. I just started shooting again after a couple decade break. Keep up the good work. 👍
I worked other jobs and had other hobbies. This year I felt it was time to come back. Luckily, all the gear I used back then and even the DSLR's are pretty cheap nowadays. 📸
That's a good point, but even if you shoot jpeg they're quite flat... i reckon canon has tuned the screen display settings to make images appear more vibrant than they actually are...
I feel that... I tried one the other day and I loved it... tempted to get an x100f or something one day. The xt-3 is an underrated bargain at the moment though! it does 4k 60 and with a pancake lens it's quite small.
@@julian_giambelluca Since you like the ixus, maybe you can find a fuji xf10 for cheap. And yes, the xt series is amazing, but by far my favorite is the xe2
Great video :) A little tips for getting a bit better contrast and more vibrant colors straight out of camera, is underexposing by -0.3 to -1 (depending on the camera, and the scene) Well, at least that's what I often do with my Sony DSC-W50 from 2006 :)
Yeah 100%! helps keep the highlights in check so it doesn't look so "digital". I literally always have it set up to -0.3. Though I have to say being able to shoot raw with the hack is amazing. You can get some wild results.
@@julian_giambelluca Yeah, that's true :) And, as you mentioned, being able to use AI denoise can be a great help too, not only in nightshots, but if you have to use high shutter speeds :)
Haha! I had an Ixus50, and recently my teenage daughter has become interested in it. I didn't understand why until now.
There's a trend among gen z to use CCD camera, so yeah
this vid is amazing man, real film making is alive! also there is no way you made a canon cigarette box, that’s mental
Nah for real thank you. Yeah I made that box to avoid getting flagged hahaha, makes for a cool party trick too lol

Thank you man happy to hear that! What did you do instead for the last 20 years?

I would say the images look flat on the phone/pc if they are raw files. The camera will look more vibrant as it’s a preview image

I regret not buying a couple of fujis x100 when they are 100ish euros

love the video
Project X Party Look 💀 I swear I'm not that old that movie was only like 10 years ago!

This vid goes hard 🙌✨✨
i literally bought one the day this video is uploaded.
i cant put it down now lol
Really glad you're enjoying it!
Excellent👌
There are so many cameras like this, is it popular because of that one video?
I'm sure there are other factors involved, but that video got like 750k views so it definetely helped!
👌👏🤩
