How about a "live" video? I am not saying I even know how to pull that off, but maybe a hangout with all of y'all would be a good time?! I would have to set a date and time to coordinate that, but maybe that's a decent idea? If I'm not making sense, I apologize! It's been several long days in a row and it's going to get worse! Heat and lack of sleep will get to you after a while... I think I get to go home just in time for the 4th of July..
Apple lessons and costa lessons always seem to be the hardest ones learned! Gonna have to get one of those brackets and the trolling motor plug. Thanks for another good video captain! Keep em coming.
Great rig Caleb. Those power bubble systems are hard to beat for the price and produce a lot of oxygen. Also, good tip on keeping live well water as cool as possible, especially in the hot summer months. I've used a gallon milk jug filled with water and frozen with great results. Keep 'em coming!
Thanks bud! Glad you are liking it... I could have easily taken the week off with everything I’ve got going on, but I’m loving the community we are building and didn’t want to miss y’all this week!
Video quality was pretty good. This gives me some ideas and improvements I can try on my boat. Maybe in a future episode you can talk about how to get into tournaments, what to expect, that kinda stuff. Good luck this weekend.
I noticed in the video you said you been using a crank bait. I have seen it before with guides and noticing it on boats at the boat ramp , but I never hear anyone talk about them. Lots of videos on TH-cam on “baits to use” and “what you should have in the tackle box” but crank baits are never mentioned. I was just wondering if it’s consistent or just one of those “nothing is working, may as well try the crank bait”.
Great video and information as always, Caleb. I'd love to hear more about your rod and reel suggestions, and about how you maintain them after each use. There's nothing worse than a rough reel!
Awesome! Didn’t know those plugs existed will be looking into that for sure. Also never unplug my motor so I will be giving that a try. Thanks for the videos. Will watch any of your videos it doesn’t matter if it’s just an update on how your fishing is going. Sometimes I watch one and think damn didn’t even know I needed that info. Lol. Tight lines!
Just want to say I was referred to your channel and it's been nothing but fantastic videos. I'm barely getting into fishing and you've tought me alot so far. Thanks for making things so simple and keep on keeping on. I'll watch anything you post.
Having never fished a tournament I would love to see the inner workings from start to finish. I’de like to start fishing them but they seem intimidating.
Just found the channel. Think you’ve got some very helpful and useful information. I love to catch redfish myself. I only get to make it to the coast 2-3 times a year and usually fish the Rockport area Copano, St. Charles and Mesquite. Being that I only can make it down 2-3 times a year. What’s the best way to locate fish or how would you tackle that scenario? Appreciate any input. Love the channel. Thanks!
I have a burn bar similar to yours...but I was wondering, how is yours attached to your console? Mine has a hand knob that screws into the bracket that is mounted on the console...but they seem to back out. I'm just trying to find out if there's anything better out there. Thanks
Great video. The live videos on the water are nice. How do you guys do it everyday? If the good lord would bless me the financial ability to do what you do it would truly be an answered prayer. However, when I fish a full day or two I’m simply wore out. How do y’all do it everyday?
What model Simrad unit do you run? What about a how to video of basically how you use the chartplotter? Do you use the fish finder? Looking at images of drop offs and structure. That kind of thing.
@@CaptCalebTV sorry for the confusion I thought he was talking about your mid-tower. I'm ready to have my boat built and will be fishing flats and drifting, 90% of the time by myself and I'm trying to figure out my configuration.
@@CaptCalebTV I agree about TRP. I ran one for years on my shallow sport. It was great but it was needy. I like the less expense and simplicity of regular lower unit
Nothing wrong with that video. Other than it makes me want to go get a new boat. Maybe an idea would be an over view of redfish patterns. Spring time they do this, summer the do that, fall, winter. Are they always present in the back lakes, bays and surf. Just a thought.
Nice setup Caleb! Dont worry about the fancy production, sometimes less is more. A tournament video would be awesome!!! Probably wouldnt want to do that live..
That battery tender plug is awesome. I am going to switch mine out to one, cause my plug sucks.. Also those Condos are pretty cool, the guy that built them, built my parents house.
Great video. I always like to see other people’s method. You should create an amazon affiliates account and then put the links to the gear you use in the description. It creates a passive revenue stream for you and allows other viewers to see the gear you use.

That would be cool!
Didnt know how too do a live video a year ago?!?! Congrats on coming so far so quickly. Always enjoy the videos

Where did you find that plug for your trolling motor?
Power Pux are the new way to hook up
You know the Huettels? Was down at there house recently as well.
Don’t think so..
Capt Caleb TV Kyle Huettel? He’s related to Daniel...
Ahh. Yes. Didn’t remember last name.
Your quick tips are fantastic. Thank you so much!

Yes sir, that works!
Wondering who makes your captain seats. Switching out a leaning post and wanting to go to captain chairs?
I’m not sure. You can order them from about any boat builder. Got mine from Sport Marine.
Just caught up with this one. Very authoritative and knowledgeable.
You post it, I’ll watch it. One of my favorite TH-cam’s so I’m gonna watch anything. Hope I can book with you one day. Keep up the good work man!

I was going to do that today with some of the guys that are here staying with me, but they got stage fright... 🤦🏻♂️

It’s a niche bait. Deep water. Jetties. Rivers. Stuff like that. Not really an everyday bait unless those are your main targeted area.
How often do you change ur engine oil
Every 100 hours

That one is in the line up. I’ll be doing it from an actual reel repair shop for added insight from a pro! As soon as I’m home and able, it’s next.
Capt Caleb who makes the big blue/white diffuser stone that you have in your live well? Many thanks for the well-executed videos!
I get it from BAAD Marine online. Not sure of the brand name.

What’s some good bank fishing spots in Galveston? I’m from Houston and plan on starting a saltwater fishing channel!
Or kayak spots with not so much rough water?
Thx Capt. I was watching your video with the OG's thinking I'd like a rundown on that boat and setup.🤘

Same as yours, but they never back out. Probably just a different bolt on mine that’s a little tighter?
Love my battery tender trolling motor plug. Keep the videos coming.

It hurts. Promise.
What’s the best way to hook live shrimp on????
What model Simrad unit do you run? What about a how to video of basically how you use the chartplotter? Do you use the fish finder? Looking at images of drop offs and structure. That kind of thing.
Simrad Go 12. I do have the structure scan, but I’m rarely in water deep enough to use it.
Definitely going to order the battery tender plugs. Great show as usual!
Who makes your casting platform? I love the idea of being able to take it off when I need/want to.
Custom Marine Concepts out of Tomball
good info
How about how you clean your fish! Maybe what knifes and techniques you use!
Nice job on this one Caleb. Way to mix it up
I like this style of video too
Where’d you have the tower made on the front? That thing is sweet, I bet it sure beats standing on a cooler. I’ve love to get one.
Custom Marine Concepts in Tomball or near Tomball.
@@CaptCalebTV Do you ever fish from that tower?
All the time
@@CaptCalebTV sorry for the confusion I thought he was talking about your mid-tower. I'm ready to have my boat built and will be fishing flats and drifting, 90% of the time by myself and I'm trying to figure out my configuration.
Id like to see some video of the ins and outs of fishing a Tournament. Everything from scouting, planning to weigh in and everything else in between.
Agreed, would love to see a “how I prepare for tournaments” video!
May not be studio, but obviously it does not need to be doing an ad-hoc video on they fly shows you care and there were some really good points.
🔥🔥 trp on that sho?
No sir. I get myself in enough trouble without it. 😂
😂🤣💀

Just as curisity when you talk about the "fancy studio editing". Maybe someday do a short gear and software run down of the equipment you use.
Awesome boat! And some good pointers!

Good luck in POC. Let me know where you find them.
Great info and well done. Although I miss theatrics, as a new boat owner I appreciate the walkthrough.
Cheers
I need to look into one of those plugs... I’m having hell getting mine to twist in and stay in place.
They are about $70 on Amazon...

On the water show, Friday the 26th!!!
Sweet boat maybe you can do a live video of fishing and let us know what setups you are using. Thanks for doing a great video
How about a video of top 10 questions asked of a guide and your answers.
Or
What questions NOT to ask a guide.
Good one!
Nice setup, heard nothing but good things about JH and the Outlaw line. Can't say the same about the Ulterras.
Nice boat Caleb! But bro, that hat looks a little......idk...... tainted 🤔
😂. Looks like a champion is what it looks like!
Capt Caleb TV Haha
You need to hollar at someone like Scott Martin and see how he films with gopros, etc then have someone help edit the footage for you.
Maybe someday. Don’t have the bandwidth to bring on help yet. Would be great, though!
Capt Caleb TV Man, you have a boat, you offer some young kid a trade for editing to go fishing with you on off days, win-win!
Nice boat
Those were expensive lessons since it was more than once 😂.
Sweet boat maybe you can do a live video of fishing and let us know what setups you are using. Thanks for doing a great video
