Hey just wondering what i would use to put my stickers back on? I’m doing a door swap on my 3rd gen Cummins and was wondering what to use to stick it back on?
Jacob Keevert I love not having dirt trapped in between letters making it easier to maintain. That’s the biggest benefit imo. Also I like the fact on a new truck all the paint will fade/age the same if you keep for a long time.
Ah man that's a bummer. The eraser might help. Honestly I have never ran into that before. May help to warm it up a little then try a light eraser wheel possibly.
Generally with those vinyl decals I will warm them up a little with the heat gun and try to remove as much as possible with my hands. If that doesn't work or it comes off in a million pieces ill use the 3m Eraser Wheel followed with the same steps as the debadge. On new trucks they generally just come right off if left to sit in the sun for a couple hours.

Idiot
I debadged my truck today a good smaller flat head behind lettering works faster. Keep pressure as you hear pops right off.
nice change of pace.great video..
I plasti-dipped my rear ones dark grey to match my interior but my sides are looking rough. May do this! Looks so good!
That turned out well, looking to do mine here soon

I generally use a 3m double sided tape.
What’s your opinion on debadging? I’m caught in between wanting to do it and leaving them on lol

That's your decision my dude.
Make/model of the buffer you used pls..
In this I used the Rupes LHR75E buffer.
When I remove my emblems one of them had super glue, you think the eraser might help remove it? I tried almost everything

My eraser makes a huge mess how come the one u used didnt
Did you end up using the 3m version or a knock off?
U don't even need to heat it up ,just use a a fishing line , simple...no need for a gun
How would you remove the badge in the middle of the tailgate?
I have never removed that only since it would need replaced with something else. Sorry I am not much help Erik!
Any way i can buy all those badges from you?
I think I have some laying around you can have.

@@PristineAutoDetailing what kinda do your have?
On a pickup with the 4x4 logo on the rear panels, is there a way to safely remove that?

@@PristineAutoDetailing Thanks, I was afraid they might be part of the paint, I wasn't sure if it was an applied decal or not. Excellent video!
Can you put new badges over the old black glue?
I wouldn’t. Won’t stick correctly. Lol
Do you have an plasti dip videos?
I do not, sorry Brandon!

music too loud. good vid
adam lebednik never have been good at judging right volume when editing yet. I’ll get it down eventually 😭
Thanks brother!!
Why does the emblems make you wanna remove them??
Customer wanted them removed. Makes it easier to clean around is what I like the most about no emblems.
Just did mine with nothing more than some fishing line and my fingers
😂😂😂
What about the adhesive?
@@LuisSanchez-dk7ne 3m adhesive remover spray.
Says in order to buy the eraser wheel, you must be a professional/commercial user lol why?!
haha yeah I know! Just go slow and low pressure. I guess you could burn the paint if you generate too much heat.
Good vid...
Thanks Gary!
You know, pulling that adhesive in the right direction causes it to release very easily. Then you don't have to hit the paint with an eraser wheel.
Goo b gone….
