I’ve lived in Pflugerville all my life. It’s changed for the better and for the worse. The cost of living is a lot higher than it used to be. Back in the 90’s and and most of the 2000’s you could live on a part time job in Pflugerville, but on the flip side you usually had to go into Austin. Of course now there’s a lot more jobs in Pflugerville now, but that created a lot more traffic. The restaurants in Pflugerville are mostly fast food, the sit down restaurants are decent. As a native Pflugervillian I will always love Pflugerville but I just prefer the way it used to be.
Thank you for sharing your experience of Pflugerville! It’s incredible to hear from someone who’s seen it evolve over the years. I completely understand the mixed feelings-growth brings opportunities, but also challenges, especially with traffic and the cost of living.
Interestingly, Austin is often referred to as 'Silicon Hills' due to its burgeoning tech industry and the hilly terrain in the area. While Pflugerville has a flatter landscape, it is situated near the undulating terrain of the nearby hills. I am always here to help you out with any questions you have. Don't hesitate to reach out to me via text at (512)-645-1990 if you need any further assistance. Have a great day!
If you're looking for great places to live near Pflugerville, Falcon Point, and Black Hawk are worth considering. Pflugerville is home to major employers such as AFP, City of Pflugerville, Texas, Reliant Energy, and Topaz Technologies. In addition, there are many other large employers nearby, such as Dell Technologies, Apple, Samsung Austin Semiconductor, IBM, NXP Semiconductors, Applied Materials, National Instruments, and Advanced Micro Devices. I'm white, so I hate to comment on a black person's experience. But look, nobody will bat an eye at you being black, I promise. This is a suburb of Austin, Texas. Please don't believe the stereotypes about this state ... It's one of the most diverse States in the country. I live in an apartment, but I think I'm one of the only white people here... at least that I've seen. Don't believe her lies about PFISD tho. It's a mess. Also, my son has been teased at school for being white. That shit doesn't happen in places where minorities aren't.... very accepted, lol.
Pros: Close to downtown Cons: expensive houses built on really bad terrain that have tons of foundation issues. Really bad hard water. Brain dead drivers everywhere. 100000 people within a 5 mile radius
Thanks for watching and sharing your perspective. It's true, the proximity to downtown in places like Pflugerville does come with higher housing prices. Do you live in Pflugerville?

How is the black community in Pflugerville?
Hey, I'd love to chat about this. You can send me a message at (512) 270-0966.
It is good for families
Hey Ray, it's a great area for families!
Look at the schools and tell yourself that answer. No.
Even if they build out the transportation system people will still use their cars and keep them because of the lifestyle here.
Very true! Austin is spread out, so having a car is important.
How is it out there being black? I’m asking because I’m from Louisiana and I have a job opportunity located there.
Would like to know the same thing...
