Good Upgrade from narga but narga doesn't lose that "much" here are some noteable things if you want to build for it.
- Nargacuga has 5 per clip compared to it's 4
- IT DOES NOT NEED TUNE UP TO GET CF just go silencer with 3absorber and 2 reload speed
- level 2 slot Rampage deco slot is great for more damage against monsters (anti fang/anti dragon/anti aquatic)
- In the set builder try to include 1 level of bloodlust for easy 20% affinity / Coalescence for dmg boost
- Hassle part for this gun is you need 2 Sniper to get rid of the deviation for temper
- other than that solid ! (sorry for overlooking it, thank you for the people who told me about it! :D )
- can still be beaten by malzeno depending on the match up.

The chest piece is from furious rajang that give u, lv 1 chain crit, lv 2 maximum might, lv 1 evade extender

Thanks for the inspiration on all the LBG/HBG builds. I have created a monster Malzeno lbg mixed set (Skills Below) with my Rapid Fire up 2 with 3-1-1 charm that hits 100% with Rousing Roar. Lots of super valuable level 1 dps skills to really boost the raw.

Rise RNGsus-sama has granted me 2 awesome talismans a week before Sunbreak dropped - Evade Extender 3 Part Breaker 1 2-2-0, and Evade Extender 3 Wirebug Whisperer 3 2-2-0. Count me in as a fellow lunatic. Only time monsters get me is when I wyvern counter too late or I accidentally roll *into* someone else's aggro 😅
I started using it with the starter build from a few days ago and yeah, I can't go back now. I pretty much never get hit.
I have a Crit Eye 3 charm with two 2 slots so that'll help with white spots. Thank you for this build!
btw people the storge greaves are the women greaves of magala if you are male it is the arc greaves i think correct me if i'm worng

Thanks Bata, this gives me a build to shoot for later. I'm still rocking your narga rapid p2 build from base rise. Got a little hung up on the rock monkey, but I took that as time to start crafting all the armor available before mr3. There's a few peices that look dope for rf p2 but I'm still stuck with HR narga lbg until I beat golm because it seems to still be best rf p2 until I get the MR narga upgrade.
The izuchi lbg from master rank is what I used until mr narga, it has rapid Pierce 1 which is just 1 less tick but has way higher raw like 240 or so, and has rapid slicing which is nice. I would use that for more damage.

I found a talisman w/ Ev.Extender3, Stun Resistance1 w/a 2,1,1 deco slots.. I guess I'm a lunatic and a maniac then.. 😁 Great video as always! 😁👍🤘

Level 3 evade extender is actually insane lmao. I made a lance set with it and I was so thrown off when I was backhopping across galaxies

I can never go back to anything less than evade ext 3 now, it feels so smooth on the lbg, like BAM BAM BAM then hippity hop to another dimension, I feels like a god just sliding around the monster (quickstep evade) while imagining my party looking at me in awe.

@@thegentlevan I use his previous pierce lbg build before this vid, but with a 3-1-1 talisman so i can fit an evade extender 4 (gives 2 levels, the head gives 1) deco in the leg instead, overall still copied his build perfectly + super extra comfort of ee3.

Set building seems so much more nuanced and interesting than in base game. A lot of little skill interactions instead of just direct affinity boosts.

Great video. Thanks! I've been using your guides for a while. Every time I put a build together it just doesn't quite click like yours. I mained dual blades in world but I love lbg in rise. I'm definitely gonna try this. I'm just one UQ away from Shagaru Magala to make the feet I think. Just beat Malzeno.
Great video. I'll definitely look to make the build for one if not both. I'm just looking for some way to kill monsters quick now that I'm soloing higher level afflicted monsters. I main greatsword, but some monsters I don't like I want to be able to swap to lbg to get the bounty done quick and move on

Hey @AngBata11 i have a question, is having spare shot lvl3 better than maxing out crit chance on non weak points? In terms of dps. I have a set with 90% affinity on weakpots and spare lvl3 with all the other core skills. If i change to this build will i gain damage? (Sorry for the english if I made mistakes but it is not my language). Keep up the awesome work, i'm a fan since MHW.
I managed to put agitator 5 in my build thanks to the updated armor builder.

Yo thanks i took your build then changed it up and now i have 80% affinity at all times and depending on my attachment i want to use i either do 36 reg 40 with fanning and 39 reg 43 fanning (dps) i changed up the gear quite a bit though haha

Hey, short question: with my talisman i could Go for critboost 3 and dont eat for temper dango (instead marksman, dont like the deviation), or go for critboost 2, one sniper decoration and eat for temper. Both should give 5% More dmg correct? (Other than the procs of marksman)
I am only MR 50, so it will be a while before I can build Malzeno's LBG. What do you think of Shagaru Magal's LBG? Only downside I see is no slots. But 325 raw is pretty good.

Hey AngBata, you mentioned narga having crappy raw but good affinity and malzeno with high raw and no affinity for rapid pierce, but is gore magala light bowgun viable? like split between affinity and raw? or is the clip size for pierce 2 too small? it also has moving reload like malzeno lbg
the slot on malzeno just makes thing a lot in favor of malzeno tbh

I don't think he put specified a rampage deco. Since the Narga lbg only has a size 1 slot there aren't a lot of good ones to choose from.
Does Ballistics help the LBG if you have Silencer + Critical Fire + Tune-up? Does it increase your critical range?

What do you think of the gaismagorm lbg? I have made a comfy lvl 3 spread build for it that deals 102 damage per tick (on test dummy) with food buffs and fanning maneuver while still being at low recoil and fastest reload, the downside is, you have to be point blank but I never died bcuz of that. I'm thinking of building a lvl 3 pierce build with it and compare it with the rapid fire 2s, im just curious how it would perform.

May I ask why the malzeno lbg is better than the gore one? The gore lbg has 10 more raw and 20% more affinity and has a rampage 2 slot. Does the 3 extra shots and 4 slot make up for that on the malzeno one? Genuine question idk the math

I'm not sure if u would like my set but maybe u will it's gais lbg with adorable deco tetran head Mal chest and waist arc legs and gais arms with 3 quick load decos 3 absorb 2 peirce without the charm and with I have a 300 2 spare charm with piece deco on it
i need help with getting more dmg out of my lbg it takes forever to kill something now and im at MR 3 and not doing enough dmg i get out classed by a bow when im playing with my friend he ends up doing most of the dmg and i do little...

I like running the final boss lbg on “fatter” monsters like goss and rajang using spread 3 build it’s pushing out 200+ damage per shot but still has the kick with piece 3 if they get too far away
What caused your defense to go up from 629 to 744 at 5:20 when you were talking about Coalesence?
It might be the palico using power drum since it does increase attack and defense as well

I wonder when we will have real broken LBG builds again, if ever :D I like those build but I am still kinda slower than with my SnS so we are not as broken as base rise I guess
I'd like to see a video attempting to explain the interaction between Tune-up, bowgun mods, and Critical Firepower/Marksman. All of those effect so much about how a bowgun functions or its optimal distance, etc. It kinda doesn't help that Tune-up doesn't display it's "+1 Reload" when the conditions are met.

@@xhere14 No there red and are only obtained from hunting afflicted monsters. Mainly get 1 per hunt sometimes 2 when doing higher difficulty ones with most end sets requiring 3 per piece.

why recoil3+ silencer? recoil2+longbarrel can reach lowest recoil for pierce2, just asking

How do I get frenzied when I don't fight the magalas? Does it happens automatically from the skill?

I can even squeeze in another Ammo up 2, so I really want to know how much will damage overall increase with 6 ammo per clip in compared to 5?
Assuming the reload time is same as one shot, I think it's about 2% more dps. Having 1 blank shot in every 6 shot and 7 shot is actually a pretty small difference. Not sure about the exact frame values but it should be close.

Do we know the other CC ammo on the Malzeno LBG? One of the things that bugs me about Narga is how limited it is to pierce.
Zeno has no cc ammo just rapid pierce2
