I was so in love with a school teacher, the night before our marriage vows, I prayed almost all night, thanking God, but near the end, I asked of God, "Lord, if I may serve you better in not marrying this wonderful Christian woman, please stop it from happening", but not at all believing this should be the case. Well early the next morning I received a call, that the marriage could not be performed, because of illness. I asked, has this ever happened before? And I was told "no". I took this as God telling me, that I could serve him better by being single. Later I could see evidence of this, as missionaries and full time volunteer Christian agencies desperately need single men. I did cry though, I cried for days, but I never lost my joy of serving my best Friend, and constant Companion, my Lord Jesus.
Aleluyah. Brother, Know, that Lord Will Soon need us Much More than just "missionaries" , because the hardest Times 4 the Entire Humanity's History + Future Are about 2 happen Before The Second Arrival. So, Now Think Why we Need 2 stay single Until the Second Arrival happens probably in the beginning of the next decade. Peace with you until than.

Needed video. I just got out of a 6 month relationship that was un equally yoked, but she got baptized at my church, we talked about marriage, and then it all fell apart. David I have a question for you and I couldn’t figure out how to ask besides on a TH-cam vid. I’ve been watching this channel for a bit now and I just found your other channel the Christ Developed earlier today.
I’m a woman and I share the gospel a lot. Anytime I feel the Holy Spirit leading me to share the gospel, I do my best to be obedient to that call. Here lately I had a situation at work (I also work in a warehouse) with two men who wanted to speak about the Koran and other religions and I don’t know much about other religions and that’s something I said. I told them I havent studied apologetics all I know is I’ve read the holy Bible and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the divine intervention in my life with my testimony is what makes it real for me. I’ve been thinking what if I did study apologetics but I also wonder if me being a women would people consider that me trying to lead? I feel like God wants me to know more and because I’m bold in my faith and loving and I usually develop a relationship with people so then I can share the good news and hopefully see another soul saved for the kingdom of Heaven. What do you think about women being evangelists?

I recently tried to give a trans content creator some constructive criticism after their channel started to take a turn toward their gender identity. I was very careful and respectful; didn't even mention God or quote scripture. However, I was still met with only combative negativity. As I read the replies all I could hear in my mind was Proverbs 9:8.

Being an orthodox watching your channel i must say that most of the stuff that you say we are also being teached about i can hardly find a difference. And no orthodox don't believe that only your works will save you, but your faith in practice does show through your works so they are inseperable in a way. You should bear your cross as well and follow Christ footsteps is what we are told. It seems controversial to me to speak so much against lukewarm Christians yet hold onto only faith saves you at the same time. My friendly 2 cents about it.
Orthodoxy DOES teach your works maintain your salvation. That is a complete works based system. No orthodox man has any assurance of salvation. Simply ask your priest. Will be praying for you bro. Come to the real gospel. God bless
@@thedavidhammond Yes you are right in that there is no assurance of salvation in orthodoxy. You need to show your faith through your works or at the very least through your complete repentance and acceptance of your sinful nature to God. If you can't even do that bare minimum you are not saved. Assurance just brings complacency, the one thing that you do not like as well. In revelation God said that he would spit from his mouth those who were neither warm or cold in faith. And Jesus saw those trying to serve both masters as trying something impossible and would deny them.

Non-denominational is a denomination btw and Orthodoxy is not works based. I'm Coptic Orthodox we believe we are only saved by grace through faith. Works is just something naturally produced by our faith more causation not correlation
Yeah I’m not that denomination either. And no orthodoxy is works based. No orthodox has any assurance of salvation. They must partake in the sacraments including church in order to have a shot at heaven. Do not be deceived bro.
5:33 hey idk about this. I have been researching a lot about Catholicism and I figured out that a lot of the doctrine we think they have is actually just misconceptions that we have out our parts. Once u do the research it gets complicated and usually has a valid argument on the Catholic side. Idk about orthodox yet I haven’t really researched them.
I will always fall back on being non-denominational. It is the easiest and the simplest bc I know that #1, God will not lie to me in my relationship with him. And #2, the Bible will not lie to me.
However I think if there are traditions that the apostles carried down from Jesus that will help me grow in relationship with God, I would LOVE to know what they are and partake in them(like the Eucharist, I feel like Catholics are on to smt with that cuz otherwise things like John 6 don’t make much sense. It is like the Eucharist is a physical way we can partake in Jesus sacrifice, even though belief in him is sufficient-vs 29), it is a physical sign we can partake in). It would also be nice just to have a sound doctrine that is explicitly written down instead of having to do a whole bunch of research to make sure I’m not contradicting the Bible

Catholicism is not a works based religion. Salvation is not based on your works, you can never do anything that will be enough to cover your sins. Only Jesus can. Catholicism was started by Jesus himself
