Broke up with my gf yesterday, I was gonna propose to her. She ended up telling me she lied about being a Christian the whole time. Praise God for saving me from a lie. I believe she’s saying she lied about a Christian out of spite for ending the relationship, because I’ve seen her change and have faith in moments where one cannot fake it. I’ve forgiven her, I pray that she finds the Lord if she truly hasn’t because that’s all that matters.
I just broke up with mine today :( it hurts so bad I loved her but she didn’t have God in her life. Man this hurts so bad because I know the pain I caused her :(
Dang I am 16 and broke up with my gf of 1 year and 1 month. Y'all pray to God we will find better girls trust. Rn I am going to the gym and gonna focus on myself. Sadly tho imma see her literally everywhere because of how small the high school I go to and it hurts like crazy. Honestly I tried my best but she just chose another dude over me. Again I will pray for us so we can get better gf 🙏.
I'm so sorry to hear that, brother. That really sucks man. Hope a better woman comes into your life, man. I pray that God sends you a good, honest Christian woman
This is the most encouraging message I’ve ever received as a single Christian male, now age 31 and wishing I’d have for real waited on God. Don’t make my mistake gents. It’s never too late, praise God!!!
I joined a Christian accountability group at my church. I know I am not ready for relationship. The pain I see these men go through because of women and pornography. I am doing fine where I am at. Month and half clean from it. I feel like my brain is detoxing from all the poison I poured over it watching it for years.
Not gonna lie I definitely found my wife but I always knew I wasn’t ready and I didn’t want to believe it. But after hearing ur words I’m more determined to become that man God needs me to be for her. so I’ll wait till he gives me the yes to marry her.
i needed this bro🙏 Me and my girlfriend broke up 2 weeks ago and we dated for 2 years. I really thought she was the one and the one i was gonna marry. She cheated on me and manipulated me and it really broke my heart. I hit rock bottom, and the only thing that has been helping through it is Jesus. For the first time in my life, i have felt the holy spirit work in me and i feel like everyday i am getting closer with God. I really need to grow my faith, my mind and body before i ever get in another relationship again. So thank you for the reminder and keep spreading the good news🙏
🙌 I've been single for over 5 years, and I'm thankful. Because I am getting so much closer to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He's purifying me and cleaning my life up. Praise the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen. 🙌

I broke up with my gf 7 months ago to get my life right with God, she tried getting me back but I wasn’t ready, then when I decided I wanted to marry this girl, and went to get her back she didn’t want me anymore and told me a month ago she wasn’t in love with me anymore. Guess it’s Gods protection cause we are now unequally yoked if we were together but now I’m praying God sends me the right one. There is no drive through for a Godly life or marriage. I’m experiencing exactly what you’ve described and I’ve felt like I’m losing the battle but today is a brand new possibility.
Man, these past two videos is exactly what I wanted to tell my friend about. He literally is trying to flirt with a girl that just started to come to church and just recently confessed Christ to be Lord. And I know for sure he's only trying to get her because of her looks. It's pretty perverse, in my honest opinion. He thinks he has a relationship with God, but he's in willful sin in LUST, why would God give you a wife if you still struggle with lust. He never would. And God also wouldn't have a relationship with you if you're in constant willful sin, but he tricks himself that he does. I tried to tell him literally everything you said in the previous two videos, and he doesn't listen. (I learned these things before I saw the videos). I told him we shouldn't even seek wives as 1 Corinthians chapter 7 tells us to do. And after all I told him he said he disagrees with some of the stuff I said and of course he continues trying to flirt with the new baby Christian girl.
@@ezekielarraez7045 Keep in mind that in 1 Corinthians 7 Paul specifically says not to seek a wife because Paul thought Jesus was coming back soon. Paul was wrong about that one, so we need to take Paul's advice with a grain of salt. Some of it is good, some not so good.
Needed this one 🙏🏼 Not just for the relationship part, but the reiteration of being patient in all aspects of life is much appreciated brother. I just became fully committed to Jesus 3-4 months ago after being one foot in, one foot out for my entire life. I have the tendency to get in the mode of expecting Godly blessings just because I fully committed, but this video helped remind me I’m still a baby Christian and have a LONG way to go. Thank you so much!!
It was clear to me 4 years ago that I'm not ready yet. Got a LONG ways to go! You know you're effeminate when a Christian girl who likes you (outwardly) says she wants you to move out of your parents. That season was a wake-up call.
That’s true .. waiting on God and working with what you have.. vs *wishing* you waited on God.. cause then by that time you’re knee deep into whatever artistic it is..
thanks david. i was seeing this girl for a few months but couldn’t really read her. it got to the point where i told her how i felt about her and i guess she didn’t feel the same way. i learned a month later another dude told her his feelings and the same thing happened to him. just gonna keep focusing on the lord and getting better each day.
Holy Spirit is most certainly working through him and all of his anointed. I've been seeing these eerily perfectly timed videos amongst all of the legit Christians yts I follow
@@thedavidhammond Amen, brother, sooo True. Thanks 4 the video . And, after almost 50 years, i have Trully realised that i am actually still Not ready 4 the relationship , Because i am still Not cured of some Bad spirits, and some bad habbits, and some "passions", and fleshy desires are still torturing me, and many mistakes, and so on, so, when i get ready, i might get a spouse, but, maybe it Will still Be Better 2 be Alone 4 the Lord. And especially Now, Before the Second Arrival. Peace with you, until than, with Blessings from old Eu 🙂
Much love to you brother! I think it takes so much courage as a great minister like you to admit that you yourself may not be ready for a relationship, either. I’m glad I’ve been single for 5 years because I wasn’t ready. I’m still growing myself. I couldn’t be with women and get to where I am today, faith-wise. Now I just need to work towards increasing more finances and career more to have a place of my own. Please pray for me.
I ignored God and he crushed me. If you are a child of God and you live in sin repent now!!! The worst pain is not the separation and the police and layers, but having to see my two girls suffer and knowing that is my fault.
I’ll take the truth big bro David 😎 Im not ready and I need time to do the will and if it’s so for me to get married as I want to be but I’m going to continue to focus on myself in self improvement and focusing on the kingdom of God.
Looking back when I was a 'natural man', viewing everything from a very carnal lens, I would think this was normal or being a realist. But having more spiritual discernment you realise that is a pretty demonic way of life in which nothing actually 'good' can come out of it. So here's to embracing the more righteous path. Stay strong fellas. ;)
Colossians 3:11 KJV - Christ is all and in all. Isaiah 45:7 KJV- I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create evil, I the LORD do all these things. Jesus said, God is coming to you, be prepared.
That helped change my mindset a lot brother, I've had that same mindset with looking at other guys with a girl and I can tell they beat and fap all the time and are clearly out of shape and in the back of my head not in a depressed kind of way but more just kind of confused like where's mine? But explaining how God's standards are much higher than ares really helped me, thanks for the content brother keep it up they've been helping me a lot and I'm sure your helping more people too thank you for all the encouragement, God bless 🙏
Bro is spot on with the knowledge. Sent it to my friend who is living in sin. I told him get married or end it with his girl or he can't claim to be a Christian
Personally my strategy is to flee temptation, meaning I run and stay away from women. If I don't put myself in a situation to act on my lust I won't. It's a weakness of mine. Working , training , gym and the Holy orthodox church ☦️ keeps me on the narrow path. It's the Paul arc, until I am ready to marry and settle down
God can use everything to his advantage when we are in a state of isolation. I stay in to avoid bugs and sometimes the sun. I am sun sensitive. It's not always laziness. Sometimes it's old age. I wish I was 20 something. I did have gym memberships but back then they screwed you over with lifetime memberships. There were lots of scams going on in the 1980s to 1990s. Not sure about beyond. I just don't bother. I have to work on weight loss. It's hard but I focus on eating healthy. If I fail then I have to keep going. I have to watch my sugar in take. I love sweets. Maybe you guys could pray for me too.
I say 1-2 years, I agree Christians get married quickly. It take 6 months to tell if you actually in love. In the first 6 months you are in something called limerance. Limerance is what leads into love, part of the process, but not love. After 6 months, then you can say you're in love, and that's when you know whether she/he is the one. In the 6-12 months, this is when you are saving for that engagement ring, planning the proposal. Second year you have proposed and you both are planning the wedding and at sometime in that year you get married.
@UnbrokenBeliever dude there is literally psychological science around limerance, go look it up and shut up. You completely misunderstood me. If you can't wait and burning with passion then you are just gonna marry not out of genuine Jesus love, sacrificial. But just marrying just so you can dump your seed into, treating her like your possesion.
@@danielcarroll1816 yea sure the limerance stuff can be true but doesn't negate any fact he said. People marry in the limerance stage and still are happy and married years later. Again what the other person said its a choice at the end of the day.
@ezekielarraez7045 that is true, however God created us both logical and emotional beings. Both the logic and emotions should be in cooperation with each other. Now when in the limerance stage, your logic is out the window. You are infatuated with the other person. This is good as this is how love forms, it's part of the process of falling in love. However you ain't asking the hard question, you are not discerning whether you two are actually a good fit. This can lead to divorce later on down the track when the fireworks are over and you haven't built a camp fire. When your logic catches up and you are choosing love and commitment when the days role around where you have no feelings. Thus the wise thing to do, which God calls us to ALWAYS practice wisdom is to go through the first 6 months of courtship/dating. Asking questions, what your view on children, where do you see yourself in five years, is her calling from God and yours align etc, whilst spending time going out for dinner and beach trips having platonic fun and developing feelings. It takes 6 months for limerance to become genuine love. At the 6 month mark is when someone knows whether they want to spend the rest of their lives together or not and this give you enough time to find the green and red flags. At 6 months you should be planning on how you are going to propose..... or break up. Now you could ask at the 6 month mark, 7 month, 8th month. I say 6-12 months giving a grace period for the man to build up the nerves to ask, find out her ring size, buy the ring and plan the proposal. Then again another year, again giving grace for wedding preparations, what if you are marrying a foreign woman and her family needs to travel book flights and accommodation etc while your also are planning g the honeymoon aswell as the wedding. You could marry 2 month after the proposal, 3 months, 6 months whatever it is. Hence my comment of 1-2 years after first beginning the process of Christian dating/courting with 0 bedroom fun until the night of your wedding. How I do think it's very unwise to marry before 6 month while in limerance. Even though some who have married very quickly have worked out. I would say they are the exception to the rule and see it as very unwise
@danielcarroll1816 Absolutely cringe how many Christians think their personal opinions are wisdom from God lol. "Build up the nerves to ask..." You sound like a guy who doesn't get out of your parents' house much You have no idea whether someone is in "limerance" or genuinely loves, so just shut up
The other night I confessed a lie i had told to a girl before i was born again. Although ive known her for years and do wanna marry her someday. She's taking some time to process things now lol, which means things will be delayed. That was most certainly a conviction from the Holy Spirit, because pre being Born Again, id have kept that lie. Seems ive killed two birds with one stone
I have 2200 square feet of shop space where I cut wood, weld metal, and design radio science equipment. I don't need to leave my house to do real physical stuff.
Greetings, looking for a genuine male perspective: I've been talking to a gentleman for 6 months. We're in our late 40's. He wants a child and I don't (I have one already). He said that he still wants to get to know me but made up in his mind that he can't "date" me because he's still torn about whether he wants children or not - and that he has to protect his heart. Am I wasting time with him still wanting to get to know me even though he's torn about the child issue? Thank you in advance.
Yes, you are wasting your time in this relationship. He is struggling with what he wants and you. Cut the drama and pursue a strong relationship with Jesus Christ and leave all things in his will for you.
Thoughts on preaching to your children early in life, so they are spiritually literate by their teenage years and spiritually mature by their early 20s? They have a "Paul" ark from 16 to 21 and then are spiritually able to handle a relationship around that age. I fear many men are waiting til late20s and mid 30s
Men reach their prime around 36. Men can get married early but usually in their early 20s they should be focusing on money making. Look at the Asian culture. The men usually date focus on women until about 25, before this it's education and career.
Yes, but men today are waiting too late to have children, causing them to have high risk of having children with autism. That’s not including if their wife is also in their mid 30s, causing complications for the mom and also less fertility rate. I offer this point because a lot of men wait too long sometimes to start families, and they act like children longer than they should be. Sometimes they are in their late 20s and still act too immature. Ideally, I think it is most important to emphasize scripture and early intervention so that they may be spiritually stronger and financially literate enough by the time they are in their mid 20s to comfortably start a family.
@@UnbrokenBeliever agreed! I was saved in my mid20s so my walk is very different. But I’ve seen families whose sons are spiritually mature by 18 and are ready to have families by 24 to 25. It’s only been recently that the world has pushed an agenda to stop having kids, and thus has caused men to wait forever until they’re 30 or so to get married. I just want to gently push against that so we have brothers who try their best to get ready now rather than procrastinate on their spiritual growth. Would appreciate others opinions too as this is definitely an important conversation for our youth and young men!
I'm a boomer and new here. I am Christian and married a Christian too. I was married 35 years and I really loved it. One morning my wife got up before me, and went out and filed for divorce! I did burn with lust and gladly got married. In the 70's men and women wanted to be in pairs. In the church our pastors were always married too. If a pastor was not married, he actually was not even chosen, or seen as fit to be a pastor or an elder. David , no pastor ever even read Gen.3;16. and taught on it. My wife left when we were 60 years old! No adultery, no fornication at all. We home schooled our son from K to Grad too. I have never been a eunuch for the Lord as you are. I looked in the bible after my wife left and wanted to know how many times and where the bible showed a woman saying "I love you," to a man. It NEVER HAPPENS EVEN ONCE! Why didn't preachers tell that? Also, the last thing I wanted to do is rule over a woman. I wanted to be what preachers called "equally yoked." We went steady for a year and a half and got married when were in our early 30's. I did not know God cursed the women to be contentious with her husband to the point that the man would have to rule over her. God cursed the woman to not like you before you even say hello. I didn't know that. I'm glad you will not end up like us men did over that last 100 years. I did know that a man falls in love real easy(as a noun and a verb). A woman has no clue at all what love even is. Older women have to teach her HOW to love a husband.(VERB) The woman don't have a clue what love is, but peachers didn't tell us that. Women are not people of covenant at all either. I didn't know that.

thanks, captain obvious I kind of figured that out myself today but thanks for the title man Like a big Bro David from Lil Bro Joshua How do you do in the live message going to billion today so thank you for your input and everything like that Thanks, captain obvious lol
Focus on God and don't rush ahead of his plans for you. Surrender it to God. I'm still single. I'm past my 60th kiddo. Much wiser too. Someone said I looked closer to my 40th. I think the more we look and find the wrong one it will take us longer to get to the right one.
Not everyone is meant to be married, by the way. Sometimes 1 Corinthians 7 is true of you, and a wife is not in your future. I'm 44 years old, and it is evident it will not be my path.
Excellent message. There is a lot here that is so true, many pearls of wisdom. While I do agree that one must be ready for a relationship, and I also agree that as Christians we should not be casually dating as the world does but rather courting with the intention of marriage, my take on being ready is from a somewhat different perspective. Being ready is simply understanding the expectations of a relationship and having the maturity to be selfless. If your main concern in a relationship is how it benefits you, then perhaps you have some egos of lust, pride, or envy to work on. Meditate and pray on these things. The other thing is it really doesn’t benefit anyone to put the decision of “being ready” into the hands of God. At least, not in the literal sense of some mystical, supernatural ghost. The Kingdom of Heaven is within, and our Heavenly Father made each and every one of us in His image, endowed with self awareness and intuition. Follow the guidance of the Lord, then trust your judgment that you are ready to sacrifice yourself for another’s wellbeing. Still, it is unrealistic to expect to be completely ready for a relationship without having any experience actually being in a healthy relationship. When you’re first starting down the path of commitment to another, you need to understand that the both of you are going to grow together, and growth involves more than just happy discovery at the same pace. Growth is messy and even chaotic, and rarely happens at the same pace for both of you. It requires a lot of patience, and a lot of humility. The most important thing to do in the courtship process is to verify your potential spouse has beliefs, values, and goals that align with your own. This will take time. During this time, it is also important to remain chaste. Having undue intimate contact too early will cause ties to begin forming, perhaps before discovering some sort of incompatibility. Obviously sexual contact before marriage is a HARD NO, but even kissing and petting with clothes on can complicate things. It’s a delicate dance but both people should understand that there needs to be a measure of modesty before the wedding night. Meditate and pray on these things. These are my thoughts on the matter, informed by the Word of our Heavenly Father, and by my experience having been married now 26 years.
Has anyone else noticed that every title he uses is a negative statement, I'm out. Click baiting using the language of the enemy is not for me. Your pastor was right, you're not ready to mentor.

Looking back when I was a 'natural man', viewing everything from a very carnal lens, I would think this was normal or being a realist. But having more spiritual discernment you realise that is a pretty demonic way of life in which nothing actually 'good' can come out of it. So here's to embracing the more righteous path. Stay strong fellas. ;)

Amen bro. Narrow is the path for a reason ⚔️
Personally my strategy is to flee temptation, meaning I run and stay away from women. If I don't put myself in a situation to act on my lust I won't. It's a weakness of mine. Working , training , gym and the Holy orthodox church ☦️ keeps me on the narrow path.

"Build up the nerves to ask..."
You sound like a guy who doesn't get out of your parents' house much
You have no idea whether someone is in "limerance" or genuinely loves, so just shut up

The other night I confessed a lie i had told to a girl before i was born again. Although ive known her for years and do wanna marry her someday. Greetings, looking for a genuine male perspective:
I've been talking to a gentleman for 6 months.
“Yea, you know, I’m pretty good, financially, I’m fit, I got my ducks in a row” wooow bro😂 ain’t that’s how we think🤦🏽♂️

@@fuevue2913 Every person is different. There is no one size fits all formula.
Would appreciate others opinions too as this is definitely an important conversation for our youth and young men!
i don't plan on having kids anyway it is what it is
Amen
I'm divorced and have no plan to date or marry. I know the bible says not to re-marry, so I may simply keep friendships or not re-marry.
