- God let you believe you were going to marry this person, but it didn’t work out. Don’t be upset with God for allowing it to happen, but be thankful that he let it happen. He let it happen because he didn’t want you two to get married. He wants what is best for us, so I want who he has for me! Let him prepare you for your future spouse and learn from this pain! The devil sends people in our lives to have a relationship with and God sends people in our lives to have a relationship with. We need God's spirit of discernment to help us know if the relationship is from God or Satan. If the relationship takes you away from God and has you sin then you know that relationship is from the Devil. If the relationship blesses you and draws you closer to God then you know that relationship is from God. We have free will that God gives us. So we are the ones that decide if we want to be in a relationship that is toxic or healthy. I believe God rescues us from marrying the wrong person. I thank God for helping me to end relationships that weren't from him because I know it was for my protection and my well-being. I especially am grateful that God protected me from marrying the wrong person because it would have led to an unhappy marriage or divorce. We must remember that God sees the bigger picture and he knows what's best for us and he will do what's best for us because he loves us that much. We need to trust in God and surrender Our Lives to God . Be blessed

My 8 year relationship ended, I made peace with it when I realized God needed me elsewhere. Every person I met afterwards was a testimony for God’s goodness and how he cares about every little detail in our lives. It won’t make sense in the moment but when you look back you realize that God’s hand was in it all along and he will bring you to a holy place. You’re never alone and your heart is in good hands! Give yourself lots of grace and allow yourself to express whatever emotions you feel! I really needed to watch this video. Everything you said I can relate to. Years ago I fell in love with a girl I knew after high school. I really wanted to have a relationship with her and potentially marry her but God had other plans… I’m a much more stronger individual now since then, I’m mentally and spiritually stronger than ever before. Everything does happen for a reason and it’s for our own benefit. God really wants all of us to be patient and wait for the right person to come along. I broke up with him 2 days later because God told me to, I know that was the right decision. God does not lie. Please do not portray God as a liar. That was from the devil, the devil is a liar. We as believers should always pray for discernment.
Like I said in the video… God allows us to make mistakes and still works it out for the good. We just may not see it that way! God doesn’t lie or deceive, that is our flesh and the devil.

I feel like this paints God as a deceiver. Divorce isnt suppose to happen. We failed in our own ways and thats why it didnt work. He sets us apart to reflect on that. In corinthians 1 it talks about if you divorce, use that time for prayer, then get back together. Dont go to other people because that is adultery.
I think this video was meant for people that are not married yet. When there was made a commitment, yes, you're right we are not allowed to divorce exept in the case of adultery. God bless you brother 🙏

This is kind of weird, because… I’ve never had a relationship, but I did give a Bible to an actress at a convention because I felt like I had to. Later tried to ask her to dinner, but she said she was busy but “maybe if I come back to Atlanta.”
Then I lost my job the next Monday. She’s not saved I don’t think, so it probably won’t happen and I never really believed it would, but if it may happen someday with this person, I know I need to grow and probably she would to.
Either way, I pray for her salvation (and at this point, really do kind of just want that dinner and conversation). Also tried to date other people in the meantime, but… never worked out

What if this breakup was a lesson to make us understand that we needed to lock in more on our relationship with Him? We were both on our way to becoming good Christians but I acted unrighteously and now we’re away from each other, but our faith and our relationship with God has never been stronger. Does it always have to be another person? Because I truly believe that she’s the one I’ll marry in the future

Naw God doesn’t play games, but he does test us sometimes. We can sometimes get ourselves into sticky situations because of our free will. But it’s what we do in those times of testing that builds true faith. As it says in James 1:2-3 Count it all joy my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know, that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness (endurance).
