Just bought the G3 and have the version 2 installed and combined with my Vox Pathfinder 15r for £200 combined is what I call value for money, can't believe the zoom for the price
yes you can..i got boss fv500 h and it works ok..you can also use any cheap volume pedal like meridian sk14 by using TRS cable for the expression input of ur zoom and R&L mono output of ur volume pedal..
@Jedidiah Bald and @mickyma297 I had the same error with MS-50G then I went through the manual again. Must be some button combination for your G3 to. Here is what resolved my problem: "When the MS-50G power is OFF, while pressing and holding both its up and down keys, connect it by USB cable to a USB port on the computer. This operation puts the MS-50G into a state ready to receive a firmware update, and its display shows a firmware update standby screen."
aye i was using the patch buttons with my feet but its the little patch buttons on the top you use i felt like some fool when i found out myself lol hope this helps you out
EVERYONE WHO IS GETTING MIDI ERRORS/VERSION UP MODE ERRORS. Turn your device off. Plug it in. Then hold the stombox buttons 1+2 and then turn the device on. Device should boot into version updater mode and then you can install the updates.
How it works in live situations? For Ex. I want to use the 3 switches to have an effect combination en each one, like overdrive and delay in switch 1, flanger and reverb in switch 2, and overdrive with reverb in switch 3...In live situation y want to go easily to one of three combinations...Can I do this? that´s the part that no one explain....or with my poor english, I don´t understand, sorry, ha....Thanks

MMM yeah I finally got it worked out. I somehow missed the part where I was supposed to hold down the buttons on power up. Thanks man.
you can actually scroll all the six slot by footswitch..just press the 1&2 footswitch at the same time and 2&3 at the same time to scroll back.:)
