- Hey guys, I'm honoured to present you with this video of a collaboration between myself and one of the tastiest players I've heard, Alex K. I've personally been a fan of his playing for quite a few years now, so it's a pleasure for me to do this video with him. We both hope you enjoy the video!

It’s the backing track chord progression to “cry for you”. I think
@@shaunmcinnis566 sounds pretty much like it
True!
This really reminded me of Cry For You by Andy Timmons. Great stuff.
There are no words... love these collabs
Great playing, such impro could go for hours... Wonderful
Rick, I love your economy/ hybrid picking , so smooth, I’m gonna work to copy that, I’m an economy picker but yours is over the top.
very nice!
This is awesome! Thanks for leading me here :0}
Yes, this is very good.
those pickup covers are so cool.
Guitarist #2 is none other than R.f'n G. signature phrasing, fluid legato and economy of motion... I'm "Jelly" of 'dem skillz Rick!
Alex K is so Andy Timmons
Sir, I can’t begin to express just how much your gifted musicianship is blessing my soul. Please don’t ever change or sell out commercially because what you’re doing has restored my hope that true musicians are still producing soulful and heartfelt music. That in and of itself is priceless! Thank you sincerely.
Alex K is such an underrated guitarist
You hit the nail on the head right there! Sadly i have been saying that for quite a few years now.
Rodderno9 It's a shame that he hasn't that many subscribers considering that he's been on youtube for a long time now.
Agreed!
I listen to this song every day!! I would love back track and explanation of your formula!! keep rocking, it brings many a guitarist joy!!
Beautiful!
Excellent guitarist one of the best I've ever seen in my life, a giant musical feeling, someone who really knows how to transmit the musical notes with his own style and with a touch of the chords that excite us.
I await the tabs.

can't go wrong with either... excellent stuff
Rick Graham - wears his watch facing up so he can watch as he destroys time and space with his improv.
But in all seriousness, top playing from both as usual!
Maybe it's so he can keep tabs on his notes per second :P Really tasty playing from both guys here!
Nick Ioannou that is spot on
Friggin Rick G
Inspirational yet depressing.
I guess when your wrist is upwards 99% of your waking hours because of playing guitar, it makes sense.

Rick you are my guitar idol and inspiration and I think you are one of the most versatile guitarist ever.

So cool!
Usually you'd save the best for last but I'd say both of you guys are as equally soulful, talented, and shred ready. Rick loves his legato. Great collaboration!
Rick I replayed your part several times, so beautiful phrasing :O
Love it!
Awesome 👍🏾
Watching this year and asking myself how greatful i'm to know Rick's sound and playing!

Great both guitarists of modern era .... emotional too!
Muuuuito boa Jam! Parabéns
great emotion trance in playing from alex!!! nd rick very tonal nd modest
Amazing, brother!
Sound's as if Gary Moore,John Norum,Michael Schenker and Andy Timmons had a baby together,I love it!
this is awesome!
I remember when I was 20 playing my guitar 10 hours a day. I'm 57 now and Rick has inspired me to get my guitar out again.
Jesus this was brilliant. Real emotion.
just awesome!! tasty playing \mm/
3:03 - 3:08 listen close and you can hear his guitar singing “you left me cryin’, yeah you left me dyin’, left me dyin’ on the kitchen floor!” WHO HURT YOUR GUITAR RICK!?
holly crap!!! this filling is... no words!
Rick's technique is flawless as always, but I like Alex's tone and phrasing better on this one.
I like Alex’s version slightly better, however, Rick’s phrasing the 2nd pass is to die for. Rick’s first pass opens with a simple motif, followed emphasis on the 1 and the 4, 2nd pass with arpeggios outlines the chords with embellishments. Rick did well building and selling the 3rd of the e-diminished (G). Alex’s tone and intentionality is impressive and takes you on a ride before the handoff to Rick. I have to comment about his double stop touch at 20 seconds, just enough touch. Call and response top notch, 2nd pass Alex creates plenty of tension before rolling into a repeated motif filled with epic call and response variations. I was moved by Alex and educated by Rick.
absolutely fucking beautiful!
this is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO WONDERFULLLLLLLL!!!
Oh my gosh rick ur awesome!!
Man that was freakin amazing !!!!!
Great!!!
Que hermosura .....gracias MAESTRO
I just went on a mental vacation....driving along the coast in my old convertable with the reflection of a blue moon bouncing off the waves.
Well done.
Now that's a cool guitar! Rick makes the right hand work look so effortless but it's clearly years if not a couple of decades of grafting 👍🙏
Pete Sam he actually learned really fast, look up a video of him playing after 2 years; he’s insane
Awesome
Gran sonido, gran tocada, grandes melodias y armonias, super completo! Inspira! Felicitaciones! Awesome!
damn rick... i love that last three notes!!!
Great phrasing. That was pretty much perfect.
Wonderfull
I need a tutorial of this improvisation! Awesome❤️❤️
Vicious bending! Great!
Great job by both of you guys, expertise is obvious here...
SICK wow i love ricks smoth playing :D the legato thing is epic
fantastic playing as always :)
Damn. ❤️
That's beautiful tone brother
WOW! Ive been a fan of alex k too and who would of thought you guys would both make a collaboration!:)
HELL YEAH! tasteful like woah!!
Rick I love your tone man , like come on man, Just don't know how💯🔥
Man, love the contrast between each of you. Rick has got a nice slippery feel going on with the fast runs providing tension. Alex hung on to notes like the bends he did, really getting all he could from them. He also reminded a bit of Gary Moore.
sweet tone!
u r the best guitaris
Que hermosura.....sonido que enamora
Perfect ... My hat down
HEY ALEX LOVELY BRO....GREAT ATTACK,U NAILED IT..
Lots of Timmons influence in that first part. I kept waiting for him to bust into "Cry for You".
Landon Wilson I thought he was going to do that too!
Everyone learns from some one else!
Same vibes
IncreRickble!
straight BUTTER.
New pups in the J.custom?
Sounds awesome guys!
