    Thank god i found this, spent 2 hours trying to figure out how that cap come of the end of the wire. Now to wait till monday to take that off and finish the repair.

    Thanks for this. It's great to see I don't have to remove the carb as the motor is in a frame and it is difficult to remove.

    Nice, but since it's unlikely that a brand new engine will have a coil failure. Inspecting the flywheel surface underneath the coil is a good additional step. And cleaned if needed, but should be inspected at least.

    Don’t you have to move the flywheel so the magnet is vis-à-vis the ignition coil before setting the gap?

      Your engine randomly dies when hot ,,starts again when cool.
      Fuel delivery is good , carby is good.

    Imagine….I’ve spent over an hour trying to find a diagram or tube on wiring the coil and condenser to the points post.
