The most amazing thing just happened! I just finished listening to an awesome sermon message from a pastor out of Southern California. The lyrics of Sangah's "Higher Ground" praise hymn matched his message! His entire theme was the importance of looking forward, and not back. Satan tries to get us to look back, but by God's grace, we can forgive, and keep our eyes on the finish line which Jesus Christ has already won for us on the cross, which is so important to remember in these Last Days! The time draws near when He will return...no Man knows the hour, and the most important thing we can do is to forgive our fellow Man and trust in Jesus for our eternal salvation (John 3:16) and also Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." There is a Redeemer (by Keith Green) is a song that I may request you to play one day, Sangah. "Thank you oh my father, For giving us your son, And leaving your spirit, 'til the work on earth is done. When I stand in glory, I will see his face, And there I'll serve my king forever, In that holy place." May the Lord bless and keep all of you close during these difficult times!
I made mistakes in my life. I was depressed for the last few days. I haven't heard this song in years but out of nowhere somehow it kept playing in my dream last night. I woke up and searched for this song and thankfully it's in Sangah's library of music. That led me to read MrRickonia323's post in which was a blessing to me. Adding to it... We're always taught how to forgive others but we don't forgive ourselves. Satan uses our past against ourselves to limit our growth in Christ. If God the Father, the creator of all things has forgiven us, we can surely forgive ourselves as well.
If a person has goals in life there is nothing wrong with reaching out to acheive them. One should just never forget where one has come from, always beware of the unsecured stones while traveling towards the future to avoid stumbling on the way. May your road always be secured.
