no bro, har chiz ke lia node dena nhi parta, node khud enable ho jayega, extrude viewport mae hi karo, edit node khud enabled ho jayega

Maya and Houdini both are fully node based. Everything in maya is node based. If you make custom rigs you can't escape node workflow in Maya. You can extrude in houdini also just by clicking a polygon and extrude in.

Their is no comparison Houdini vs maya.. you have to you both in same workflow for best AAA results
1- Houdini is a procedural modeling software and maya is a normal modeling software
2 - Houdini is use simulation purpose that no software can handle ( fluid,smoke,fire cloud)
3 - maya is best for speed model texturing and animation..
4 - for fx simulation Houdini is king ( 99 Hollywood made because of Houdini)
