Something I realized recently was that N died in the forest when his son was really young, like 5 at most. He goes to Origin to see his past lives and talk with Z and then makes the choice to become Moebiis. He goes to kill the city people, including his son. Except, his son at this point is very old, 60 at the absolute minimum but probably older. That would mean that N was stuck in Origin being manipulated by Z and seeing all the past life trauma for literal decades...
I mean realistically we don't know whether time passes the same in Origin or not, but it's definitely safe to say N definitely spent a lot of time in Origin.
@@FrancisYorkMorganFBII feel like this was the likely case. But that would mean he was flooded with all that trauma in a matter of seconds. That kind of pain would still be awful.
1:07:42 Rex watching over Nia's Castle, I wonder if he was thinking about her. . . My guess is he was hurt losing Pyra and Mythra and that explains why the rough skin in the outside when talking to a clone of his daughter?
Hearing those "song names" is really funny when knowing the previous Xenoblade games. I think it really can't be overstated how much more enjoyment is gained by knowing XC1&2. But at the same time, it of course makes the entry for newcomers even harder, having to play through two very big games. And yet, I think - besides all the bigger implications one then understands, too - those small moments are really worth it.
Oh absolutely! I want people to experience this series and I always tell people you will get the absolute best experience if you play all the games in order!
I mean I don't think there is any entry issue. You dont start reading Harry Potter on book 5 y'know? All the games are on the same console so there is no reason to start with anything but the first game. I feel like the only people who have entry issues are impatient people who want to skip straight to the newest thing.
Nikol is at the end of his last term. Meaning he's almost physically 20, this makes him older than Shulk in the first game. For some reason they made him really short. XD
If you ask me, there's no way Shulk and Riku both missed that Shulk's arm was missing a shim. I figure they removed it deliberately, to give Nikol something to fix that isn't a weapon, and that they can use to bond over.
Imagine going back in time and telling everyone that the final DLC will feature Shulk, Rex, their children, and their great-grandchild teaming up with Alvis to fight Alvis. Monolith Soft was too wild for pulling this off.
26:50 I also love the fact that the “founder of house Vandamn” was named Ghondor. Because to Monica in base 3 she named her daughter after the hope of her people and her city; but, to Ghondor (her daughter) it’s like being named Eustance or something, like a old man name. Also shows Noah’s naming conventions being “weird” which is pretty neat. Overall 10/10
tbh pyra's child taking a liking to aunti mythra and becoming more like her feels very believable as a thing that could happen, just makes me wonder how the other 2 where like. Maybe mythra had a boy.
Absolutely! I really feel like they all raised their kids together. Seeing the kids personalities shine and how they became their own people while still being so similar to their parents and family was so cool to see. Takahashi nailed it with family and parenting dynamics.
I wonder if Glimmer is meant to be an amalgamation of both Pyra and Mythra/their children combined. She's has Pneuma's hairstyle, Pyra's color, and Mythra's demeanor/personality. I find the name "Glimmer" very charming/cute. Also, I remember seeing a theory out there that the original Mio is Nia's daughter, which would include more characters we know into their family tree - from Ghondor in Redeemed to young Ghondor in 3.
I'm going with the headcannon that if Mio is like Pyra and Glimmer is like Mythra, Mythra's kid takes more from Nia. All of them have Rex's determination and sas though.
@@fictionfan3699 I dunno how much thier original world selve's personalities would rub off on them in Aionios, irl people have many passions and relationships that mold their personality you can't really have that in that world, what if you where a new born in the orignal world? there is nothing to rub off, I guess you can argue nature over nurture but I dunno how much you can tie to that. I know its counter to my original comment but given more thought thats the current thing.
@LorieMegistus Understandable, lol. It's not quite as clear as Torna, (where the base game talks about the events of 500 years prior all the time, and gives a prologue). Xb3 base game only talks about the original city and it's relation to N 1000+ years prior in the last 3 chapters.
crying the first 15 seconds of the video girl I feel you
The title screen alone wrecked me LMAO

I think Z didn't start manipulating N until the incident with Alvis and the compact started
....or he didn't bring N back right away and simply waited til he had use for him.
Devastating 😭

Zeke von Genbu in jp is Zeke B Ultimate Genbu meaning that Bringer of Chaos, Ultimate has an even stronger connection to Zeke

Shulk is smaller than a lot of them as well, I think. It worked out, haha!
@@LorieMegistus yeah, canonically Shulk is 5'6" in the first game, but Nikol is tiny in comparison
@@oneish7454 I love my short kings 👑
Just saw this pop up in my sub feed. This is gonna be a good watch after I get off work loved this DLC when it came out
I did too, it's one of my favorites! Enjoy and thank you so much for watching!
Loved your reactions. Just finished the game myself. Incredible stuff
lmaoooo that timing 4:56 Lorie: Stooooop Matthew: "Well I'm not stopping."
Matthew is such a likeable MC. I think I like him the best out of all XB MCs, and they are all very likeable.
He's so funny and I just love how different all the MCs are. I love them all for different reasons.
37:05 Lorie" "I'm done crying for the day"
famous last words.
I was such a liar 😭
This DLC is so good. It's also a Na'el in the coffin
NOOOOO, psychic damage LOL

If Linka's lineage isn't implied enough with her looks, Pandoria's name in the Japanese version is Saika.

RIGHT? Such a treat and a love letter to the entire series. I adored it so very much
Lorie was just me screaming the whole time playing through future redeemed

I forgot how cool A is. Her hair her swoed her outfit
1:12:57
58:39 some very questionable sounds there, but understandable given what was happening on screen 🤣❤
LMAOOO I was losing it the entire time
What is the song that plays at 25:20 again?
I think it's called "The Bereaved and Those Left Behind"
glimmer is definitely her mothers child
linka is the child of pandoria and zeke, she has pandorias core crystal
a little tough love from papa
logos (malos) might disagree, but pneuma wouldnt
Lorie, I have to know! Where did you get that "Yippee!" shirt?!
I got it from an Etsy shop. Just search Yippee/Sena and Xenoblade 3 and it should come up :)

She literally said "UWU" when Shulk was shown.
Edit: Does... she not realize it's a prequel?
LMAO I was totally confused for a bit
