- This is honestly the beginning of one of the best DLCs I’ve ever played. The dynamic between everyone is amazing and I love all the callbacks from the first two games.

It's so fun seeing someone play this DLC who didn't see any of the trailers beforehand and have no idea what to expect, since right away it hits you with the absolutely insane visual of Shulk, Rex and Z fighting Alvis and the ride only gets crazier from there!
I was laughing my ass off it was so funny!! You can see the Shulk, Rex one two punch and the KO finish with Zed. Hahaha!
She is being emotionally destroyed with every area she visits and it's glorious...
All the pieces are falling into place.

Shulk having some quality Father Son time , while Rex seeing one of his daughters for the first time in Aionios immediately has to scold her. ^^
Completely blind reactions to Future Redeemed are so much fun.
This DLC is fan service done right. Playing through it is some of the most pure enjoyment I've ever experienced while playing any game.
Watching this makes me full of beans! Future Connected really is the best sendoff to this trilogy in all the best ways, glad you're enjoying it!
Ah yes, Future Redeemed, where the party is made up of Rex, one of Rex's daughters, Rex's great great grandson, Rex's brother/sister-in-law, Shulk (Who was once possessed by half the soul of Rex's father-in-law), and Shulk's son.
Bit surprised you didn't seem to react/realise that Glimmer had a Aegis core crystal.
Also did you ever play any of the postgame hero quest with Nia and Melia? I hope you did since they are great.
and if you allow yourself a bit of fanfiction and say nikolxglimmer happened, then hoo boy do we get a 100% rex family tree party

you have no idea how nostalgic this was for someone like me, all this with Shulk and Colony 9, who played the first Xenoblade Chronicles game back in 2011 when it came out in Europe.
Watching Future Redeemed reactions is always a treat. You get to see their minds blown every 10 seconds every time lmao
Future Redeemed makes you cry, but not of sadness, it's all about nostalgia. By the way, A has one of my favorite designs in the franchise and she's probably my favorite Future Redeemed character, obviously without counting Shulk and Rex.👌👌👌
About Riku: Nopon are not part of the endless cycle, which means they live forever in Aionios. That explains why Riku is there.
About the old party members from Xenoblade 1 and 2 (you won't get any information about them in Future Redeemed): it was confirmed, that some people of Bionis and Alrest appear as objects instead of people in Aionios. There are two examples. Riki took the form of his weapon (a biter), which can be found in the Low Maktha Wildwood in the main game (it is in the cave behind the dragon superboss). Fiora turned into Lucky Seven, because of the connection to Meyneth and her Monado.
I don't know if every Nopon is free from the endless now. I know they are like the city folk where they don't have a 10 year lifespan, but most of them seem to have clearly defined ages. If they all lived forever Aionios would be overpopulated with the little fuzzballs. It's more likely that Riku was just outside Origin when it activated which puts him in the same category as Shulk and Rex

My theory is that every living being from before aionios is "inmortal" until they are killed, remember that Z stopped time.
@@marche800 just like how city folk arent immortals, any nopon who were born in aionios as opposed to coming from the previous worlds, are not immortal

I completely relate to the "[incoherent pointing at the screen] N!" because I also kept doing it while playing this DLC every time he appeared 😂 I can't help it, Noah's my favourite Xeno protagonist AND antagonist all rolled in one

Probably duagther of Pyra taking after her auntie Mythra personality wise is.... I dunno makes me feel like an uncle that thought thier niece was like still 10 but she's already 20 or something kind of old.
I dunno if you play FFXIV or not, but for anyone that does, this dlc is a treat because the voice actress for ‘A’ also voiced Meteion in the Endwalker expansion
I like Glimmer a lot. It bugs me when people can't see how she's just like young Mythra.
I adore her
"She's just an angsty teen" is the complaint. Like of course she is. She has reasons to be that way and someone so much older than her caring so much about her is a foreign concept. Of course she doesn't know how to handle it. It's confusing at best.
Aside from having a similarly abrasive personality, she's completely different from Mythra. Calling her "Mythra Jr" really undersells her character in my opinion.
@ShadowSkyX To be fair some people just don't like angsty teens and I don't think she has nearly the amount of development that Mythra did.
@@oneish7454 Well she's not *just* Mythra again. That would be bad writing and I'm certainly not accusing the game of that. But the analogy of someone who craves connection but at the same time doesn't see the point, it's played two very different ways, but it IS played twice.

Matthew quickly became my favourite Xenoblade boy. There is just something so Himbo and endearing about him and I adored his accent. I could have spent another 100 hours in this DLC!

Bias, but the best DLC ever. I know some folks complained that Xenoblade 3 didn't have enough returning character and stuff, but it's so they could save it all for this and just have it be super indulgent.

Yeah the fan service in the DLC is just wilden, also COMMON VARIETY NOPON kun be wildin too.
I keep forgetting that Shulk did pass the regiment training and became a mechanical engineer soldier. He's formerly a soldier too, which i forget.
I love how obviously Shulk and Rex have been influenced by the important people they met.
In Shulk's case, with the long hair and having lost the use of his dominant arm, he's the spitting image of Dunban now. Adding to this is how he uses Dunban's animations in battle, rather than the animations he had in XC1. His Monado Buster is even a multi-hit move using the Blossom Dance animation, complete with petals made of ether coming from the blade when he uses it. Additionally, what he said to Nikol about his weapon- how it can be both a tool to harm or help people- mirrors what Zanza once told him about the Monado, how it morphs to the will of its master.
Rex only has one eye, somewhat mirroring Zeke. He also dual-wields swords, with many of his attacks using Morag's animations. His grand entrance even has him blocking the ferronis lasers in the same way Morag blocked one of Pyra's attacks in the first fight against her. And to put a cherry on top, he now looks strangely reminiscent of Malos, of all people.
