The Moki sound could be addictive. A listening experience even when idling! And anyway, the Corsair is one of the most beautiful piston engine fighters.
That Corsair folding its wings was probably the best part of the video. I aspire to have the knowledge to recreate that one day.

The wright brothers plane was not actually the first plane to fly, it just got a lot of publicity. Also, German Messerschmitt, Heinkel etc were far ahead of all other aircraft.
Well, most claims previous to the Wrights were uncontrolled and/or unsustained flight. The wrights achieved both sustained and controllable flight. That’s a significant distinction.
Turns out the Corsairs folding wings are good for aircraft carriers and Rc airplane trailers!

I was glad to see that none of them were ripping the prop. I don't know why anyone would ruin the sound of a radial with a ripping prop..
To Moki engines, please make a watecooled Merlin engine for a quarter scale Spitfire. Or a Griffon, if you want. :)

Actually, most of them are kits made by composite-ARF. I think the only one that isn’t is the big Corsair in the vid thumbnail. I think it was built from a plan.

Most of the models featured in this video are from CARF-models. They have a selection of giant scale warbirds including the Corsairs and P-47s in this video.
turbine or edf? the sound are from turbine or speaker?
This is a gas powered warbird, no jets involved here. 😊 they’re all powered by 5 cylinder Moki radial engines.
I know the two blade props are more efficient but god they kinda ruin the look, at least a three blade is still authentic..
