Oh wow! I loved this video Shaun. I think I will have to visit Iceland vicariously through your videos. We see some Northern Lights here in Wisconsin but I’ve never seen anything like that. I’ll have to drive north of my house to hopefully get a better view.
Wonderful!! You're so, so lucky to have experienced that! It's one of my biggest dreams to see northern lights once in my lifetime, but I might never be able to travel to a place where they happen. I'd be on my knees crying from emotions, if I ever saw them! It was a joy to watch your video, though, and to see you all so hyped about that beautiful show in the sky! :-) I always wonder how it must have been for the folks of old, who lived in places like Iceland many hundreds of years ago. In a time, when there wasn't any electricity lighting up the nights, and the brightest thing at night was a fire or the moon... Northern lights look so magical and surreal, that it's no wonder, those people came up with such rich and vivid mythologies! Just amazing! I'm wishing you and your family a great time in Iceland, if your're still there, and a safe journey back home! Thanks for sharing your experience! :D

Awesome! We have the Chena Hot Springs in Fairbanks which is very much like the Blue Lagoon. I so want to go to Iceland. We had an amazing aurora show last night in Alaska, very similar to this only they were very high in the sky, directly overhead. Hoping you got to see it in Iceland or Scotland or wherever you are!

Mate this is absolutely incredible scenes of the northern lights. It's my dream to one day see them. Spent 5 days in Iceland and it was too overcast to see them. Still my dream to see them.
THIS AURORA BOREALIS YOU CAN SEE AS WELL IN JOHN O' GROATS , SCOTLAND , MY DEAR CALEDONIAN FRIEND ! AND THE SCOTTISH HUMOUR AND FRIENDLINESS IS FOR FREE !
Also bought a leather trench coat like Morpheus coat in the Matrix movies for 140 pounds in Reykjavik!I also rode those ponys and got a diploma afterwards!
we were at the hot springs as well but didnt go in!there were a lot of hot women that day and we had to cover our... hoisted flags with our jackets!funniest thing about Iceland is when taking a bath, all of the hot water is vulcanic and smells like old farts!!!
