This may not be it, but if you are playing career mode, maneuver nodes don't become available until after you've upgraded both the administrative building and the tracking station to tier two.
There are two locations. In the Ships folder are folders for the VAB and SPH. Putting it in one of those folders makes it available with the stock ships (which you see in sandbox mod). Alternatively, in Saves you will find folders for each of your saves. In there is another Ships folder with another pair of VAB and SPH folders. Placing it in one of these folders makes the ship available for that particular save.
@@MikeAben hi thanks for the input but I have already done that. When I go to load a craft, vab shows the ones I made only, sph is blank and steam is the only one I get craft load in the list. I have checked the file directory and the ships are there. Done a reinstall the same problem with a new save...
I'm guessing you are referring to buttons to the left of the navball that lock the vessel to different vectors. They are available from the start in sandbox and science mode. They become available in career mode as you level up pilots and unlock higher tier probe bodies.
How the heck did you get an orbit with such a low eccentricity in the beginning? The difference between my apoapsis and periapsis most of the time is at least a few kilometers, but yours is no more than a few hundred meters. How did you get such a good orbit?
Are you talking about when to start a burn after you've made a maneuver node? If so, the game provides a countdown timer as described in the video. If you are talking about where the maneuver node should be placed, then it depends on what you're trying to accomplish.
@@MikeAben okay I think I understand but let's have an example: if time to node is 1 minute and my burn time is 20 seconds should I start burning 20 seconds to time to node? Thanks!
You start at half the time to the node, so 10 seconds. I have to apologize because I just realized that this video doesn't have the countdown timer to start. It's buried in the settings, but with the latest version of the game (1.10) the timer is there by default.
Thank you that makes sense now! Just one last question: what should I do if the time to node is less time than the burn time for example: the time to node is 20sec and my burn time is 40sec. Ok thank you very much for responding!!
No problem. It depends. Could you perform the maneuver later? For example, if you are going to the Mun, you could just do the burn on the next orbit. On the maneuver editing view at the bottom right, there's a button for moving the maneuver to the next orbit. If delay isn't an option, then start the burn now and hope for the best.
everone who has the slightest interest in space starts to think he should have give more attention to Physics class after these videos and playing the game lol

You have to upgrade Mission Control as well. I often forget about that one as it's usually the first building I upgrade.
Awesome thank you so much for the great videos and fast replies!!
Actively trying to get to the Mun right now!
How do you get the ship file in to kerbal. I dropped in into kerbal ships directory but it's not showing up..
@@nigelmorris4769 Sorry, I'm not sure how to help. I don't use Steam for this.
5:06 YES they dont have rocket engines thats why
Thank you
Wait! How do you get the thingies on the left?
I'm guessing you are referring to buttons to the left of the navball that lock the vessel to different vectors. They are available from the start in sandbox and science mode. They become available in career mode as you level up pilots and unlock higher tier probe bodies.
how can you ajust the trust gradually?
On a PC, it's left shift and left ctrl. All the key bindings can be found in game in the KSPedia at the top right of the screen.
@@MikeAben TKS you are a top g.
Bro i hot jeb stuck on the mun going for a landing before i was ready and im on attempt number 12 to try and retrieve him and the science he has there

It feels like nothing sinked in but i know it did so that is kinda cool...
I didnt know that space engineering was a part of the KSP game
How the heck did you get an orbit with such a low eccentricity in the beginning? The difference between my apoapsis and periapsis most of the time is at least a few kilometers, but yours is no more than a few hundred meters. How did you get such a good orbit?
Reducing thrust for the later part of the ascent makes this usually pretty easy.

To go to the moon, you're basically trying to hit a moving target from a rotating platform on a train on a curved track. Got it?
Don't forget that the terrain is curved too. So everything you said, but on a mini golf course.
I am a bit confused on when to burn
Can anyone please tell me when to burn?
0:40 I grok it.
1.1k like 👍 😁
👍👍👍👍
everone who has the slightest interest in space starts to think he should have give more attention to Physics class after these videos and playing the game lol
F5 on the keyboard, let´s give t a go LOL those are never good combination
i suck at the game, idk why i bought it. 3 hours of torture just for figuring some controls out :/. Mechanics are too hard
You liying
this stuff... is just so confusing... jfc
You videos are terrific!
