Agree with your assessment. I own an M2 in 20 gauge and a Vinci and SBE in 12. The Vinci is my favorite for waterfowl hunting. I’ve dropped in the water a few times, drained it out and continued to shoot. Easy to clean and has never have had a problem with it. Love Benellis for hunting.
I bought a Benelli black Eagle once and sold it shortly thereafter. It shot very high at 40 yards and it kicked like a mule. Would not go back to Benelli or inertia action again. Firmly in favor of gas guns- Browning maxus, Fabarm L4s, and Beretta A400 (although I have never shot an A400).
The recoil pad the comes with the Comfortech was not a pleasant experience for me. I put a Limbsaver Air"Something" on. I'll let you know how that goes. Totally agree that the placement of safety on A400 is better. Hope you're doing well.
M2 is what I own it's unburstable in terms of reliability, and handles sweet. The a400 extreme however Is one hell of a tool, shoots softer and again handles great. I would have both if I could justify the need.
Thanks for a professionally executed review on this gun, we loved it at the shooting show and my friend bought one shortly after. I own a SBE2 and a Raffaello so don’t need any more Benellis at the moment 😆 I understand that this new styling will be applied to the M2 model soon so we will get all the comfortec benefits as well as the good looks. 👍🏼👍🏼 Have you seen the Cerakoted green A400 Extreme, now that could lure me away from buying another Benelli 😮🤔🤩🤩

That was really helpful, thanks. I’ve just started looking for my first semi-auto after only shooting O/U until now

Got to be the best 1100 quid you can spend on a semi auto.
