  • In this video, I discuss a homeowner in the Chicago area whose property taxes increased from $1800 to over $30,000. I also discuss the property tax issues in Cook County and states with low property taxes. Property taxes are skyrocketing in many cities all over the country so it's important for you to be educated on what's happening.

Contact the attorney general's office, your senator, and state representative. Document every conversation and get the names of everyone you speak with. Pay everything on time. Get your city council person involved. Communicate like crazy to every office and agency....that's why I love "cc"...put it out there. Always vote for in your local elections. And, subscribe to this guy's channel. He's providing amazing information and deserves support.

When the colleratal is discharged, there will still be property taxes and registration taxes. 😂 If you stop paying those taxes, does it need to be explained any further? Generation wealth is a joke when you can barely pay your current liabilities all your doing is pass off inherited debts / bankruptcies. In scenarios were the mortgage payments are pass due, or property taxes are higher than the mortgage payments and more! Senior in FL are selling their condos now due to high property taxes and condo assessments😢 Cannot even afford a home equity line of credit due to being on fix income. Low end homes shouldn’t be taxed. Shelter is a human necessity. It shouldn’t be taxed on the low end. I’m in a $30k home. The tax is $1k a year and we struggle with that. It provides us nothing, and costs more than our water bill. Any home $100k or more should be taxed at a high rate. A person with that much income has other options, they just think they are entitled to spend more for a nicer spot. Instead of getting a cheap place and being able to save. The amount of landlording leeches in poor neighborhoods has an impact too. It drives monthly payments up, to sustain a household that is better off. If the poor could escape monthly payments, many wouldn’t be struggling so bad. And the hood would clean up. We only let the houses fall apart because we aren’t responsible for fixing them and pay more than if we owned it.

As a white individual, I can tell you why the taxes are going up in the south side of Chicago. The lady explaining the taxes around the six minute mark said it out loud. Is primarily in African-American homes. It’s blatant racism. I’ll be willing to bet that there is a major developer coming on that side of town and needs that land to develop it either into Million dollar home or a big business needs to land for their daily operations. And who do they target? The African-American population. It happens all the time. It’s sad to say but racism is alive and well in United States. If the rules were reverse and that was a white community with those homes. I guarantee you that wouldn’t have happened in the ChicagoLand Area. I also be willing to bet that the other 4400 homes tax bill would not be changed. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck then it’s a duck.

COVID inflation, Pandemic inflation, California port shut down inflation -The average VALUE OF US.DOLLAR is (31.8¢)That's all the states together average -Thats mean in a high economy like Chicago (17¢) on the dollar -And the state governments are wanting that value in money back -They don't care that the average worker is now making less then minimal wage with all this inflation -The dollar is sh;t now and that's what we work for now
