This is basically standard core CRM marketing principles. It may be a new concept to inexperienced funnel first timers, but to experineced marketers this is nurturing multichannel marketing. It's a well known fact that COA is significantly less through such practices when comoared to cold prospecting.
I wonder if the price comparison was accurate. It seemed like a one-off cost, but the 'warm' audience has a lifetime cost that is higher than that... especially if they were drawn in through a lead magnet advertisement or content boost. It could still be cheaper per customer acquisition, but it's hard to tell from that single point analysis.
As some one who has a business and provides marketing services, i can definitely tell you that facebook knows which audience is warmer and they will up you cpc cost for sure !
Been thinking about this all week this is why you need to focus on that main keyword or keywords that are already ready to buy that’s who you go after! Been cutting out the bs and running Google ads like this almost 15 years. Don’t waste your time on anyone that ain’t ready to buy with ads and use your seo efforts towards education and offering!
Oh man, your style makes me all warm and even laugh out loud - funnest, most engaging vid on business, like ever so far. Haven't even seen your other ones yet. Thank you, man. This is way helpful - my personal block as an artist is not relating to biz types. I relate to you. Thank you.
This is database marketing, and it's the greatest way to grow and scale as a salesperson or business. Unfortunately most people are too lazy to stay in touch with the people who bought from them.
Amazing video, Wes, as always. Got a lot of insights, that will apply immediately. Thanks for your time and dedication to this channel. You are a gift to the world.
I lack core content but I have the others. My emails titles aren’t great so I get sales but only a small amount. My website was great 2 years ago but it needs updating. My ads are carrying everything on their shoulders. I’m binge watching your videos for help.
Hi Wes. I was curious about the price comparison that you make. The cold leads is a first time advertisement that has a fixed cost but the warm leads have a longer cost of acquisition and so is the comparison you made correct or does it factor in lower engagement ad cost but over a longer time period? What happens to the audience that did not buy from the cold campaign, do they then go into the sphere? 10:20 was the time of the price comparison
Hey Richard I don't have Zach's exact numbers, but I do know that his engagement ads where he gets people to enter the sphere to begin with are pretty low. Its a much more economical way to ultimately convert people than just running a cold ad direct to an offer. Cheers!
@@WesMcDowellInc Thanks Wes, It seems to work well with your previous video on "Genius Facebook Hacks" to have "organic-like" posts as Ads that create the initial awareness. I'm still learning but that seems to be a better path. I'm experimenting with this method now both on Facebook and LinkedIn. I'm trying (big word trying) to create awareness, problem, and agitate method with the campaign as awareness with a lower CPC. I'm giving it a 3-week timeframe and will measure the result. Thank you for a teaching moment.
@@paulydee5650 Hey. It’s not conclusive at the moment but I think it’s more related to what I’m doing and the demographic of the customer / country I’m targeting. What I am finding is that using a post as the content of your ad gets a lot more engagement than a direct ad copy. I would be very cautious listening to me though as I’m trying to figure things out on a tiny budget. What is evident is that you need to use the data as feedback to make small changes and then test the results.
Thank you Wes! Really appreciate your insights during our consultation call yesterday. I'm getting mixed answers when it comes to running ads effect on your organic reach. Does your Facebook limit your organic reach when you run ads, to make sure you spend more money? Of course they deny that. But I heard the opposite from a couple of content creators.
Thanks Sam, it was great chatting with you! Honestly I wouldn't worry too much about that. They limit organic reach to a crazy degree anyway. Anything you post will be seen by roughly 2% of your followers. In other words, they penalize you if you're advertising, and if you're not, lol.
Email list is important yes, but if you need your first sale within 90 days it won’t come from it. It takes time and a strong messaging to get people on your email list. I suggest email list growth never stops but you don’t need it to close sales, and as it grows it just gives you a lot more leverage.
@@WesMcDowellInc fair enough. At 0:42 you mentioned it was a new type of sales funnel. It's not as new as any reasonable person would be lead to believe based on your statement. At 1:10 you say that "this is actually his concept, he calls it the sphere of influence". it is important to have this cleared up. These are your words. So again I must ask, when did he come up with this concept? I am not putting into question the effectiveness of the strategy. It is effective. Neither am I putting into question your guest's experience and ability to generate results. I am, however concerned that you may have attributed a concept to the wrong person. I do not know who came up with it. Andre may very well have got it from your guest. So again, I must ask you, when did your guest come up with the concept that you said was his? By saying it is his concept implies to any reasonable person that you are attributing the formulation of the concept to your guest.
Pretty misleading title. How do you get your sphere? Funnels. So yes it’s cheaper to advertise to warm leads you’ve gotten from your funnel, but this doesn’t work without paying to build an audience first.
If I got the core concept right, you need to be spending around $450/month to keep the circle in motion and suck others in while hoping that your product or service is something those trapped inside will buy.
This seem to be a lot of work! I want to do sale, not creating social media content each week. Sure, creation of content is an investment, but your time is limited and time is 'money'. I prefer to make great paid ads and great content for the email list. But only new content 4 time/years, not every weeks!!!
Duh. We know all that. But you have to become a full media company instead of doing what you are in business for. Not as easy as listing all the things we should do...
This is a strategy for entrepeneurs and agencies that will do the job or ultimately will assess and teach this to the entrepreneur/business in trouble to learn and start doing by themselves if they can't pay you full service

It’s not even “database marketing” it’s just marketing. They just put another name on it to repackage and sell basic marketing concepts. 😂
Your content is so digestible 🎉 great stuff brother ❤
I appreciate that! thx for watching 😀👍
This is so incredibly helpful! I am so very grateful for your content.
I'd love a video at some point that talks about how you make your videos!
Thanks Josh! I probably won't do that bc it's not what my audience is looking for from me. But maybe one day!
Such fantastic and practical information! I Definitely need to watch this a few times to fully put a plan in motion, thank you so much, Wes!
Glad it was helpful Shey! Yes this is definitely a bit more advanced than my usual strategies, and its a lot of work, but WORTH IT work :)

Glad to hear it! 😀 👏

Sphere of influence is something Andre Chaperone has been teaching for years... When did your guest come up with this concept?
No idea, feel free to ask him! Also not sure he claims to have invented it.
