We need to have boat ramp Attendants with the power to kick out people who don’t know how to launch a boat or blocking traffic. You should also be able to pay for a “ boat launch captain “ who has a lot of experience launching different types of boats. It would help the launching traffic tremendously!

My thoughts exactly. That does not look like the right trailer for the pontoon boat. Vehicle needed to be to far down the ramp even to launch. I would hate to see what is involved with recovery. Wait for high tide, float over trailer, then wait for tide to go out and drive off perhaps?

    My brotha......
I'm a camp host at an RV park and watching some people come in, try this exact adventure is sometimes quite fun to watch... for only a few minutes until I do what happened here.... TAKE OVER!
I just started this adventure of hosting and seeing just how many people are towing a travel trailer with absolutely N O KNOWLEDGE of ether backing, let alone towing or let's not forget HOW TO SET UP THEIR RIG!!!!
Doing this host thing the first time and seeing the shit I do is baffling to me! I can't believe the shit, or should I say Ignorance and how many there are that haven't a damn clue about their RV! It's hilarious sometimes!
Everything happening on this video is bringing my "Camp Host" PTSD out like a vengeance! I'm pretty sure those that have been RVing here also have a pontoon boat on the east coast!!!! LOL This is great!!!!
    But then again...
I sometimes wonder how some people I meet are able to tie their shoes in the morning though too!!!

Looks like a BMW X3, rated to tow 3500#'s. That boat is probably right at the limit. Although I'd never cut it that close, this is far from the worst towing "crime" we've seen at these Florida ramps. I presume because they have no hills to deal with there, some people would think it perfectly fine to pull a 12,000# boat with that same vehicle. "Hey!, it's got a trailer hitch. What's the problem?" 🙄🙄

RE: "The pressure's now on. You better nail it. You better nail it the first try."
Years ago, my older neighbors bought a swanky ~25' camper which they towed behind their Suburban. That's a whole lot of long stuff to back up. The first time they were heading home from the campgrounds, my good neighbor called me and asked me if I wanted some free beer tonight. They'd be home by 6 and could I please back up their camper onto the pad in their driveway. Two lineup shots, and one home run onto the pad, dead center. I got a lot of free beer out of that deal over the years. :)

This is the most simple advice I have ever received when backing up a trailer: When you're backing up, use your sideview mirrors. If you want the trailer to "disappear" from

Hell that’s what I did. Also when I got my first bike I didn’t immediately open her up on the freaking turnpike. I went to an empty parking lot or an empty neighborhood about to be built it was just a road going around a soon to be neighborhood no houses built yet and I just did little circles just getting a feel for the clutch not even hitting the gas yet once knew the clutch I gave her alil gas and I just did laps over and over and over again doing 5-10 mph hitting the brakes getting a feel for them bumped it up 10-15mph again getting a feel for the brakes. Then I bumped it up to 20 then 30. By the time I left I knew that bike and how to handle her.

they need a shot clock on each ramp, if you haven't done your business in eg 5mins then you're sent back to the end of the queue

Is that a BMW 3 series SUV? That is dumb dumb dumb. Good luck keeping it out of the water. Looks like low tide too, and the BMW isn't high enough to clear the waterline.

That was painful to watch. Bet they drove 20 MPH all the way to the boat dock holding up traffic as they went. If you are that insecure about backing a trailer, let someone else do it.
