First Attempt At Dumping My 45 Year Old Ford F-600's Dump Bed! + MATER ENGINE BIG NEWS!
Thank You For Watching! - ParoDoXz - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
After you get your new engine put in you should install a gooseneck hitch onto mater.
He's going to
I had a dump truck like that and the front wheels came off the ground as I had the bed up.amd forget to open the gate. Had to shovel some of the gravel.out of the bed to get the wheels back on the ground. Front wheels were probably 8 feet in the air.
You have to press the clutch in before you turn the PTO on!!
Thanks for the feedback!
Yeah I was just thinking that but wanted to see if anyone else said it
Definitely sounds and runs like a stuck valve. Take off the valve cover and give each valve spring a little love tap and some persuasion if it's stuck! Really cool guys!
I like TH-camrs who are not afraid to do a task no one else would even think of doing and he is definitely the best at doing that no doubt
"We think it's gonna work... cause old stuff works"
Is that how things work?
And also make sure the firing order is correct. I'm just trying to help.
Put some cool looking mudflaps on the back man you got to have them anyway
Love mater, I feel like it would look real mean if you could level the front with the back and then widen the wheel base in the front with a more aggressive tire. I know she’s just a 2wd but with that deck the front end ain’t looking as strong as the back
I am currently using a 1971 F600 16ft dump for my demo company. Max speed 55 but perfect working in Portland with slow streets. Bad ass truck I enjoy watching.
PTO not going to work long the way you engage it! Your Supposed to push the clutch down then engage it
GREAT JOB GUYS
I'm glad to hear you guys got it running you might want to make sure that's the points are set correctly normally I use a business card works for me every time. Sweet thumbs up.
Gained lots of respect for Dippin Diesel on this project, he’s seems to know his stuff and willing to work. I had lots of reservation about Bruce Wilson’s imput with you guys but that took care of itself.
Good luck with everything.
Awesome man!!!
Clutch it when you put the pto in
Hey fellas check the fusible links at the starter cyliniode to make sure you are getting 12 volts to the start side
Good job guys
You should swap the fill side on that aux tank, so when you pull up to the pump you can fill up your truck and tank without having to turn the truck around.
I haven’t decided yet, I might though
I Do Like That Top Side Creeper. That’s A First For Me, I Have Not Seen Anything Like That. Looks Like A Handy Tool To Have in The Arsenal.
Truck look sick love the tank and tool box
Very cool
Of course it works
Great bro 👍
Just ran across your channel love what you doing with the truck!!!! Been watching all your videos
Looks great good job
mater looks so good with that tank. nice choice.
Looking good, going to be a sweet ride!
Push the clutch in and pull trans into gear to slow shaft engage pto then put trans in neutral then rease clutch to engage pto
Can't wait to see what engine u are going to put in green truck
Change up any flexible hydraulic hoses on that dump.Wheres that 79 Bronco?
Yes you should remove boards and install the u bolts correctly
Your ubolts are fine. There is no difference in clamping force. And it’s aesthetically more pleasing the way you have them.
We need to put the piece of wood between the frame and the bed to take up the gap so when you clap your you bolts down it’s tight and not bending the bed that way everything is secure
Weathergaurd tanks have mounts on sides and back
Glad it was something simple dude! This was a very satisfying video!
Mater looks so good man..
I have the same old dump truck
Looks great to me ! Keep up the good work
I would use thru bolts instead of lag screws, just to be on the safe side. Cheers from Toronto, Canada. Love the channel.
Turn the u bolts horizontal on top of the bed rails and flip them down if they clear everything
The pto is mounted on the transmission so the clutch needs to be pushed in before you engage it. Sometimes the transmission will still spin for a few seconds after you push the clutch in and it will grind when you engage the pto. You can push the clutch in, put it in gear to stop the trans, engage the pto, then put back in neutral and release the clutch. I do this everyday in a Mack
Thanks George!
Mater needs spacers between bed and frame at clamping point . Might flex under load causing damage to clamps.
I think u bolts looks good the way you have it on maters beds
I absolutely love these vids, my favorite content by far
Check that dump cylinder make sure the housing is full..my pto dump was slow and check the reservoir and it was full but cylinder housing was empty..Might have a big nut on the cylinder housing that’s how I filled mine and works fast now
That's a fine looking truck
Well done man ,really keeping yourself busy and out of trouble ,this truck looks mad going to look great all cleaned up ,looking forward to it ,keeps me entertained waiting at pick ups and deliveries cool guys keep it up boys thanks for sharing 👍 👍🇦🇺🇦🇺
Thanks Garry! Much more to come
It makes me wish that I kept my F-700 I had 1984. Telelscoping cylinder flatbed 16 ft. 10 ft fisher plow ( almost new). It would be a sweet 4wd conversation. So would this dump. Id think it be simple since it leaf springs out front. Probably one ton transfer case would work. Just found this channel. Love it.
Seeing what they did to mater this truck will look just as good
Dump trucks are cool, and I'm so glad to see that it works! I cannot wait to see Fat Tony when he's done... He'll be just as handsome as Mater. Thanks for your videos man, absolutely love them.
Ole Mater's looking super sweet!!! Like the tank/toolbox very nice bud! Looking forward to the engine swap!
Love the truck I think you should bolt the tank - tool box down with this bolts
Cool
Great job!! Now put it to work pay for paint, chrome, and signage noting availability for small jobs like mulch, landscaping, and other things the big rigs can’t or won’t do but look classy doing it.
When the new engine comes in, I think it would be cool if you put a gooseneck attachment on it and the pull the super duty with mater
always pull the clutch when puting the pto
Heck yeah another episode loving this series
Thanks for the support Keeton!
I would have customed the headache rack to match the shape of the cab, but looks good
👂🏻👂🏻👂🏻👂🏻👂🏻👂🏻🛠Check the firing order to make sure there are no wires crossed also check the points you have to set the gap on the points🛠👂🏻👂🏻👂🏻👂🏻👂🏻
Thanks for the feedback!
Great video glad to see you guys got it going
Thanks Antonio!
I heard you say its your first dump. You have to push in the clutch to engage and disengage the PTO
Weld plates 1/4 or3/8 to the bed and bolt it to the frame, if it's no plugs it may be a stuck valve.
Should paint dump bed black and cab navy blue would loook gooood
This guys neighbors must love him.
that latch on ur bed is the tail gate latch
Black out exhaust tips
Level out mater!!!
Mater would look great with the renegade on that deck !!
Check the neutral safety switch, it might be the reason you can't start it with the key! Had that problem on my 75 ford
Thanks!
Mayter is looking tough👍👍
When you're going up and down with the bed, get in higher RPMs
here supporting from oklahoma city
hello greetings from Mexico very good video and very nice ford truck
TOP !!!
Pull the plug wires off one one at a time an plug them back on while it is running an see if it changes the tone of the motor if it don't youll know your not hitting on that piston or Multiple pistons
Mater is looking stinkin awesome!
You could always put some holding bolts inside the toolbox you wont see them in there just a thought
You and Dip need to start a dumping truck business!
Put the U-bolts on the other way up mate,
If the nuts come off as they are the bolt will drop and may blow your tyres.
Great video
Paint the box black, and the cab and wheels yellow! Tonka Truck!
May need to top off the Hydraulic oil. The bed should go up quite a bit further. Closer to a 75-85 degree angle.
Can you take the u bolt and make it horizontal slide it between a gap then make it vertical? You wouldn't need to remove a board
Mater is looking great, have you thought about setting it up to pull a gooseneck?
Fords are the best! What's your plans? Are you planning on selling it? I'm looking for a little dump.
Definitely add those extra taps on the sides of that box !
That’s the plan haha
Mater gon be siiickk
The lever you pulled on the bed should just be the tailgate latch. Just so you know. Cool old truck.
Check the valves and it's got a lifter tap or exhaust leak
You need to push the clutch in when you put the PTO in gear
Sounds like it has a stuck valve. Put trans fluid down the carb while its running or marvel mystery oil
You need to make sure the Steel cable is hooked to the bed and pto it pulls the pto out of pumping that way you don't blow the hose or the cylinder apart if it keeps pumping seen this happen a few times one was on tractor trailer and it blowed the hose and when the bed slammed down threw driver almost thru roof of truck had to take him to hospital messed him up pretty bad so make sure that cable is on there just becareful and keep video's coming truck safely
Might look good with a 76 pickup box on it,
Need some wood strips between that flatbed
Try popping the valve covers off to see if you have a stuck valve
4bt Cummins
You need to make a vid about the can ams
2 speed axle
Expelen work bro and video
