I thought you had to use airbrush colors for dots. We make the dots white and airbrush them with the colors we need. I much prefer your method using royal icing, and I will start doing these with my next cookie order. There's always excess icing on my orders. Thanks so much!
Hi Pam, thanks for your PTO paint dot video. Can you give an estimate of how much icing to amount of die to use to achieve the colors needed. I tried it and it was too light. I didn’t want to add too much food coloring. Would appreciate your advice. Th am you Dotti

I can’t seem to get the color to transfer to my paintbrush. I’ve tried using a small of water and a larger amount of water. The RI dot is a dark red and definitely wet from the water. Do you know what could be causing THIS?

Lowest setting. Until fully dry. It can take several hours in a dehydrator or overnight
