Beautiful work and artistry ❤🎉
Thank you for the tips! Definitely with try I have to make some cookies a week early and heat seal them, they are white with a red decoration. I’m dreading the color bleed.
This is sooooo helpful. I’m making panda cookies and bleeding is my biggest fear. I’m going to try your method. Thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you 😊 good luck!
Hi Pam - so if you use chef master white coloring for your base, when do you use the Americolor white?
I use Americolor when I want to paint or do the crackle effect
Huge fan!. Quick question. You're making the royal icing white with the gel before adding any other food color? To keep it consistent so it can take the color properly. Is that correct?
Yes, correct. Think about primers for paint. If you purchase paint at a hardware store, it is usually grey or white based. It provides a solid platform for the colors to shine and be solid.
THis was super helpful, especially the comparison of the two white coloring gels. Do you feel that squiggling under the black would have prevented the craters?
I didn't outline the letters. I should have used my scribe and I would've been fine
Thanks!, I'll remember this for next time I'm attempting lettering!@@pamkennedybakes3649
How do you get such vibrant colours? Especially with the black. I feel I have to use far to much gel colour.
I use Chefmaster mostly
I love all your tips, they will really come in handy for the holidays when we make more cookies. Thanks so much for sharing with us. ❤
What about when the lettering caves a little how do you fix that?
I just fill it in again if needed and smooth it out with a damp brush and dry with a fan
Does the dehydrater dry out the cookies at all?
Only in there to crust the tops 10-20 minutes
If you use a fan, is it as good as a dehydrator??
I prefer to use both
@@pamkennedybakes3649 how long for fan, and how long for dehydrator?
I was searching for a video hoq you get that black icing so beautiful? I'll keep watching videos!
