Money is not important it's the playing what matters more with the vhs tape itself
Vhs and dvd are great for cottages were tv is not available.
Or if you're an older lady who can't afford cable. Have four big cartons of VHS that I watch on my 25 year old TV with built-in player. If it's ten years or so since you first watched, it's almost like seeing for the first time.

There's an exception to DVDs. Because Netflix doesn't have EVERY single TV show. Classic TV shows, sets, still bring a high value, because not every TV show is on Netflix. Seinfield still sells very good on DVD.
Certainly some things always will. Marvel movies still sell pretty well on Blu ray, to people wanting to complete the sets and have the best version at home

Wow this is amazing information. I always thought they were priceless kind of makes me feel sad lol I have so much vhs tapes from childhood.
I'm going to do a couple more videos adjacent to this topic in the coming weeks, but there are a few tapes that are worth SOMETHING.

I never showed you my VHS collection. It's pretty huge. I have never done a count, but I'm certain it's over 1000. Nothing spectacular though.
My favourite tapes to collect are horror movies not released beyond VHS.
That's probably the most popular way to collect VHS. Or at least the most exciting, but I'm not a huge horror fan. I'll be doing some VHS videos in the coming months, once I get access to the bulk of my collection again

Tvs in old days cause problem's with your vhs tapes y it was taking color out of your vhs tapes and some tvs today is putting more greater color in your VHS tapes what was never there before people like myself are whiching them and I can say I have never seen were my vhs tapes have that much color in them today than in 2001 it didn't have at time like it has today tvs causes problem's in old days and don't get me wrong with there is some tvs today are terrible now the one I is not a bad tv at all it's putting more greater quality color in my vhs tapes

Cool I never knew any of this just discovered you. I actually have the Disney baiter gold edition black diamond VHS Tapes some where..they are used they had the gold stickers on them and they would be in good condition. Going to go have a look.I also think I have the original caption harlock VHS baiter edition black diamond. Please let me know what you think I’m subscribing 👍

I have over 100 of them. Over 400 Disney tapes total. The Black Diamonds are among the least valuable except for a couple. I collect them for nostalgia
So I have the banned cover of the little mermaid vhs. Even that one isn't worth anything?
In mint condition factory sealed, that tape ranges from 10$ to 20$. It was never banned, just replaced. It is one of the more valuable ones, but it depends on condition. Thing is, you can still find these at yard sales and thrift stores for a buck or two
