- Let's make some DIY coconut huts out of an old coconut that has been sitting around the house for 3 or 4 months. These are great for fish hides, shrimp hides, crayfish hides, etc.

"Now lemme get this straight,
You put de lime in de coconut, you drank 'em bot' up?"
(
thanks Harry Nilsson )
"I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" Now that is an Old, OLD classic!
LOL!
Oooh🎼 Greg has a lovely bunch of 🥥 coconuts! Kool vid , Tnks
You know it, haha
"Hopefully your wife's not there with you, to judge you, terms of what you're buying and what you're using it for . . "
LOL!
G, you are the Man! Carry on with your dream, let "The Wife" think you're a bit off, (in a Good way) you are helping many of us enjoy our hobby. Thank You!
P.S. Be Extra Good to your wife, and she may put up with your antics.
Thanks, my loony projects are confined to the basement, haha
I wish i can do that. I really need some coconut huts for my new crabs
Going to do complete coconut one with entrance hole that look really nice 👍✅
Amazing!
I was just wanting to make some coconut caves
What about cutting through the holes on the top, so there is water flowing through the shell ?
Bring on the Piña Colada's!
After a few, your wife won't mind?
But, a Thousand! ? ?
Cool video, this is also a great video for poison dart frog keeper
oo yummy a black coconut
I really like the results and and I want to have a go but I am not to keen on buying all the nice workshop toys that you have lol
I really like the PVC holds you used with the miter saw. What was the white half dome thing you rested the shell on to drill it?
its a jig made of scrap wood and a cast of a coconut made with thermoplastic so that each coconut that is drilled is supported completely to reduce cracking (comes in handy when you do 1,000 in a day, haha)
@@gregjonesonline - That is awesome. Wow, 1,000 a day... Hope you are buying the shells in bulk!
@@gregjonesonline Do you sell these for use in aquariums?
What tools were you using?
Intresting ly awesome definitely try this always wondered how they were maid but how do u get it to sink .
they sink on their own
Cool video Greg!!! Are you cutting them for next month's box??? :)
What? Maybe it's a spoiler alert?
@@spartanhonor7538 Thats what I'm thinking! Why is he cutting so many? Haha
I can't confirm or deny :P
@@gregjonesonline (Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.)
Do you not need to boil them?
Changes water color... how to get rid of it??
Boil it in pot. Change water rinse and repeat until it leeches less.
