What a delightful video! I absolutely loved it and felt like I was practically walking through those leafy wonders with you. If I ever cross the globe and make my Sydney dreams come true, I'll definitely be remembering your video as my guide.😊💚
You are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing! You did a fabulous job. I think you might have found a second layer of interest for your channel.
Wow, Sydney Plant Guy, this Walk Through Cremorne Reserve video is absolutely breathtaking! 🌿🌆 The Monstera deliciosa takeover is a sight to behold, and it's the perfect embodiment of spring in all its lush glory. Those panoramic views of Sydney are absolutely jaw-dropping - it's like a botanical paradise with a cityscape backdrop! Your passion for plants and nature really shines through in this video, and your narration is both informative and engaging. I love how you blend the urban and natural world together in such a harmonious way. Thanks for taking us on this virtual journey through Cremorne Reserve - it's like a refreshing escape into the heart of Sydney's green beauty. Keep up the fantastic work, and I can't wait to see more of your adventures in the future! 🌱🏞 #SydneyPlantGuy #CremorneReserve #MonsteraMagic
I live in the US, but have family in Sidney. I have always wanted to see how beautiful it is there, so I REALLY enjoyed this beautiful walk! 💚 Thank you 😊
Those purple ones at the end looked like prehistoric lavender lol, gorgeous there. Those houses are absolutely spectacular too, can’t imagine living in that area.
One of the best walks so far! Maybe you could go hunting for some Araucaria trees sometime in the future, these are some beautiful prehistoric trees from when the dinosaurs were around and they produce nuts. The indigenous people of Australia used to eat them. Maybe you could try some! Thanks for the content Jan! Enjoy your vacation!

I honestly think that Sydney is the most beautiful city in the world. They've retained so much of the original flora and have many green spaces. If I ever win the $80 million I'm moving there too. My son lives there and is always showing me these places, also the leaches he has attaching to him and the pythons in his house😅. Thanks for sharing Jan. It's beautiful. 😍 And the multicoloured bush with the lavender & white flowers is a Brunfelsia, yesterday, today & tomorrow..
Happy birthday Jan! Enjoy your staycation. Thank you for the lovely Spring in bloom tour. It is so fun to see what we call houseplants here, growing like weeds in nature there. The wall of monsteras were my favorite.😻
@@sydneyplantguy mine are just dropping now, I live an hour north-east of Perth, we seem to hit spring a little earlier here. Amazing the effects of a couple of extra degrees.
Thanks for a lovely trip through Monsteraville😍🤩 Love the variegated one 😅. I did learn that spectacular flowering trees are only noticeable when in flower. Otherwise, they're just miscellaneous looking nothing trees. 😊

Another awesome plant tour Jan 👍 The bulbs with the red flowers you were talking about are Amaryllis I think. So cool to see Monsteras and bird of paradise growing in the wild. 😀🇨🇦
All the philodendrons on that palm blew my mind. I live in Texas, so never in my life have I seen so many philodendrons and Monsteras out like that. 🤯😭💕 you guys have pushed turkeys and we have deer. 😂😂😂
You have plumerias in Sydney?! Of course you do! Sigh, yet another reason to visit! I adore all wildlife too, love seeing the turkeys and kookaburra too, feel free to point out more!! Snakes, spiders, anything! Going to Hawaii every year got me on my plant journey initially, lots similar to what you have! Every year I recognize more and more! So thanks! That ombré Gravillia (?) is one of my favs in Hawaii along with the huge epiphytes monsteras ets
Lovely tree ferns, I love the first ones I saw in the video with the smaller trunks. Could be Cyathea. I have a very young Cooperi, will have to be veeeery patient if I ever want to see it become a tree haha. Having learned earlier this year how slow they grow, my appreciation for them has only gone up
Yes i noticed they had super skinny trunks !! They looked nice :) i’ve been doing that walk for almost 10 years now and never noticed them growing much so yes, they definitely grow slowly :P
Amazing video! If theres one thing I've learned from watching this is that I have to visit Sydney at some point. My girlfriends got some family north of Sydney so maybe one day I'll get to see this in person :) To me the "worse" side of the walk was actually somewhat more chill. The city view is beautiful for sure but the serenity of the cove and thicker foliage makes me appreciate the view more. Thanks for inspiring me to not only get into plants but also to make me want to travel. Hope you have a great time during your time off work!
It’s a beautiful part of earth! Definitely no ‘bad’ sities, but when it comes to real sstate exposure snd views matter! Much rather have a house for half the price on the ‘bad’ side though :D
The tree you mentioned there at the beginning is a Ficus macrophylla (I think). I remember this tree from uni when learning about areal roots because its such a stunning example.
Gonna have to visit this walk the next time I visit Sydney. How I never did this walk when I lived there even though I did so many other walks around the city I will never know... Maybe because I lived in the Eastern Suburbs south of the bridge XD
Great walk... enjoyed it very much. But frustrating, Monstera "weed", in a size we try to achieve but will never get ot 🙂. Whp would have though You would say .. "No, no more Monstera's". The bulb's are Amaryllis (we've got a lot variaties over here...) Love these kind of video's also! So more filming, more enjoyment en less editing ;-)
