I have loved this song since we started playing it in high school and I can't believe I found this video. GREAT JOB!!! I am loving the trills too, cookiemonster.
I enjoyed the voice and the visuals. It reminds me a little bit of "The Muppets" Beaker version of Ode to Joy if anyone has seen it. Thank you for sharing.
This is so thoroughly entertaining...and with much humor...how could the master not like this... Only Bach's music is so much more adaptable...as he, himself...had to do a great deal of improvising [and in other ways] and adapting...and, no doubt...some compromising which I am sure did not please him...but despite the hoops and what else have you...he persevered,,,,Thank You!!...
Thanks for this... I'm currently working on this as a duet for flute and Im using your video as a reference! This piece is honestly haunting me... and I now have my gf humming it too!! ;D
At first I didn't really like the record-one-note-at-a-time a capella (it feels like 'cheating' to me). But you guys did pretty well making that style entertaining in its own right. The part at 1:25 with the bass was great.
@barbj672000 all i did is assign a certain amount of time to each note. a quarter note was .4 sec. 8th was .2 and 16th was .1 sec. the rest was all patience
@scottseansmith2 nope i didn't use anything other than imovie. i just cut the clips to the right duration and put the notes in order using the score. took FOREVER lol
Huh. Never realized how much like a woodwind a cappella can sound... Guess it makes sense with the anatomical design of the vocal folds. Especially sped up over digital media, lol. Nice job though.
@eponce09 thats amazing! So .... how long did it take to make your piece in its entirety?? (Btw.... I've been sharing your work with with everyone I know!! hope you dont mind. The time and effort you put into this really is awesome! :D
May I ask how you laid down the sixteenth notes? I know that you used imovies and Im not familiar with that program... it seems just looking at it that its 'spliced' some how....
It's a testament to the immortal greatness of Bach's music than anyone would even be willing to do this
Must have been an editing nightmare
More than that xD
Great voices, awesome edition and good sense of humor!

This is so great! Please, a remake for the 10th anniversary!
This is going to get shown in a graduate seminar on fugue at Yale University this afternoon!

@@eponce09 A very fun-loving treatment of this great piece. Congratulations! Who remembers the back story? Ideas for editing, etc?

Thanks for this... I'm currently working on this as a duet for flute and Im using your video as a reference! This piece is honestly haunting me... and I now have my gf humming it too!! ;D

Am I the only one who sings the subject of this fugue neurotically? 😂. Bach Is the Best of all times.

Trills = Seizures

You're the curve? Somebody told me this would be graded on a curve...
Yep, sounds like 2011

1.25x trust
There are asians in el paso?????!!!!
Interesting...distracting, but interesting. I can see what you were trying to do. The execution is not perfect, but interesting.
Qualcuno è calante
That sounds like auto tune and keyboards not actual voices.
...
Che cazzo è sta roba
Is not singing but just sampling :-(
too bad that it is stop motion :(
Bet your singers can't sing live! lol
What the hell is this abomination
At least slap on a little bit of reverb, jeez hahhah this is awful! Great song of course but the sampling is terrible hahah
Gross
This is awful
