Although I would never use batch processing like this (or maybe for something with a very tight deadline) I enjoy watching your videos to see and think how to do various things differently. Just out of curiosity, does the bach processing in RX preserve all the metadata (tc, tape name, take, soundroll, etc.) ?

Wow. I produce voice over and your videos have been incredibly beneficial. You are always concise and share valuable information. Thank you for producing such helpful content.

So I'm curious, was there a reason you adjusted the Loudness before applying the EQ, and actually all of the other processing? Near the end when you're setting up your batch parameters, the Loudness module is showing a peak value of almost +10db. Wouldn't that just result in clipping?

We want to have loudness handled first. In a 32 bit session, clipping isn't really an issue until you get to the final output.

Which noise removal process works better on vocals? RX6 or the default Adobe Audition NR process? Awesome video by the way, super helpful! 😊

@@cinema_sound5003Thanks for taking the time to mock my sincere question, your comment about "string" was a bit flippant. Since I'm asking specifically about RX6 and Adobe Audition, two very different audio editors, it's quite unlike like asking "how long is a piece of string" I thought you might have a deeper insight other than "they both work". (Perhaps sound artifact creation, or even how they handle dither noise from sampling conversions) Perhaps a topic for another video perhaps

@@cinema_sound5003 With a noise floor of -55db, and DX. With minimal noise: when trying to reduce the noise floor further (let's say by -15db, using a NR process, which would produce fewer artifacts? (Sometimes, clients of mine will normalize/amplify areas of a track and they would complain about seeing artifacts when I use AA to push NR past -15db.) Just in an overall sense, which software typically produced a less "artifacted" track? Thanks again for taking the time to respond.
