Well done Steven. Your presentation was balanced. I commend those danfo drivers who volunteered to speak to us, to share their concerns. God bless you and all danfo drivers and their families.
Wow. I just thought of this few day ago if it would be possible for some to film the life of a Danfo driver in Lagos. And damn you did it! Super awesome bro. Keep up the good job
You can still do that, because he conducted the work aspect of a Danfo driver. You said the life and I would be interested to see what type of place they can afford with that job and what they are able to provide for their children etc…
I've watched documentary series all over TH-cam for many years, covering a very broad range of topics, but this is a sort of topic you would never see anywhere else. It's really a unique insight into a lifestyle and culture - heck, a whole genre of public transport - I hadn't even imagined before. Thanks for documenting these snippets of daily life in Lagos for the whole world to see.
Believe me bro you literally hit it big....those big media companies will soon come and buy these documentary of yours....so inspiring and reveling....good job bro
@Steve....you can do a series with the title...the life's of the Danfo driver in lagos Nigeria 🇳🇬. Please edit the names and titles of every individual being featured in future episodes....I love what you are doing for motherland. Jay Jay from Nürnberg Germany
This a very good presentation because it tells of the BACKSTORY IN THE LIVES OF THE DANFO DRIVER. I was personally moved by the backstory of the driver that started as a kid(the one in the photo) whose "master" did not settle him properly. But all in all, learning more about the trials of the business was very informative. (Keep up the good work!).
@@StevenNdukwu Yes, content like this aint easy to make but they are very unique because not much people want to relate with them. I remember when i use over 6 months at Doyin bus stop with one of their top members there, I became more understanding to them. We get to tarmac(which is more like the park) as early as possible, and sometimes go home 11pm for night. And most of them are not even the owner of this vehicle they use, and they have to meet target to deliver, take money home for family and also some do thrift contribution as well.
Good stuff my man. I feel for those guys sha, They're hustling really hard. The taxes are just too much on them I wonder how much they all take home at the end of the day, talk less about getting their vehicles fixed. God help us.
Again, Mr Steve love your content and commend you wanting to share the stories of these danfo drivers. Your closing statement was a bit reckless, just because they have a money target to meet that shouldn’t result to reckless driving which can result to fatal accidents. I think if you are going to continue make videos like this please take your time to consider the final message you’re trying to convey
I think we now have an idea for the daily heavy traffic in Lagos, bcos danfo drivers always wanna meet their target. The truth is, the Govt is trying so hard to frustrate them off the road, to be honest, we need order on our roads & if the Govt's plan will achieve that, i pray it happens soon.
These danfo drivers really go through a lot 😓😓😓 The government better have a plan B if they want to ban danfo buses because if they don’t have a plan B, the rate of insecurity in the country will be worse than it already is!!!
Mr Steve. This is a proper Movie.✔️ Just 3 minutes, I can see how much you pay attention to details.😍 You always inspire me to do better!!! Thank you for all that you do!🙌🙌🙌
The corruption, poor infrastructure and harassment of people making an honest living discredit Nigeria. Without the danfo drivers, life in Lagos would be nearly impossible and they provide a much needed service.
...the task force and every other agency that are suppose to help the entire process of the "Danfo" buses and their commuters are as CORRUPT AS HELL, and end up creating more problems for everyone involved with their demands for bribes and ridiculous authentications of documents.
Situation of the country is no reason why they should drive carelessly, commit 8/10 of the accidents in Lagos. Cause others to pay to fix their own damaged vehicles As far as lagos keeps getting better it will keep attracting the most desperate from other states. Lagos government has to stop that incentive
As an ex-bus driver in Nigeria for many years I have concurred with what the Holy scriptures has pontificate that; “ It is in vain that you rise up early, that you stay up late, that you toil for your food, since he provides for his loved ones while giving them sleep “ ... ( psalm 127:2 ) Has Our lord Jesus Christ said this to you? “ come to me, all you who are toiling and loaded down, and I will refresh you. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am mild-tempered and lowly in heart, and you will find refreshment for yourselves. For my yoke is kindly, and my load is light “. ( Matthew 11: 28, 29 30. ) My greetings from the United States.
The end of danfos in the city centre is close with the BRT; they are already banned on the Island. Just like Molue they will soon go extinct. Lagos drivers won't miss them though. The daily quarrels and exchange of insults between danfo drivers, their conductors and Lagos drivers can be a subject for a movie....😀
Very sad, whilst the other men are driving to meet their needs, that man towards the end is there collecting collecting money and claiming it’s to keep the road clean. What’s government's job? Thieves everywhere.

They have to pay their conductor, maintenance for their vehicles etc
Now I'm a certified fan.
And I am honored.. DM on Instagram so we could connect better
None of them mentioned the police.. thats strange 🤔
I thought so.. they said police don’t give them problems though..
Police knows most of them.
The task force are the police assigned to extort.

Man! Did I just hear her saying N120 for bread??
Lol yes
More than 80% of Lagosians use danfo some times
The man in the red native is not being sincere
