Superbe comme toutes les compositions de ce compositeur
Great composer ❤😂
the best performance on YT... light, with motion but not being rushed... perfect registration and dynamic palate
This might be a surprising association, but I can't help but hear Dave Brubeck's Blue Rondo A La Turk! It's in 9/8, but there's an uncanny similarity!
Really digging some of these harmonies. Nice work imo
Very Beautiful! Thank you!
Excellent playing👍
Now I want to write in seven too
When was this composed? I hear lots of progressive rock and jazz influences, most noticeably Keith Emerson and Dave Brubeck
1975
Yes! Thanks for mentioning Dave Brubeck - it's been bothering me that I couldn't put my finger on what this piece reminded me of, now I realise it was Brubeck's Blue Rondo à la Turk!
The middle section has a very strong William Mathias flavour, particularly reminding me of his postlude
I like that
Fantastic, thanks!
Wonderful!
Really refreshing!
Super :)
Pekné 😍😊
Wow!
Loved it! Senza ritardando at the end though
The 7-beat wasn't at all weird as I thought it would be.
It's just awkward 3/4
@@juicedelemon It's just 4-beat and 3-beat taking turns.
Give a listen to the final movement f Claude Bolling's first sonata for two pianists (yes, two pianists: one jazz and one classical), and to Dave Brubeck's 'Unsquare Dance', which has some really cool choreography going, too.
I Like! Rock That Organ! :)
Sounds similar to Alain's "Litanies."
I always called this the tequila toccata
I'm Sorry, but to mim is: Richard "Rick" Christopher Wakeman. This is toccata, is very same
Why am I getting super mario bros rainbow road from this? 😂
Fine
Don’t get stuck in a rutter
