It's made for the beginning of the mass, imagine a big cathedral, a priest entering the place with so many people accompanying him; that's the pompous chords part. As they arrive at the altar they begin to position themselves in their places, then comes the more melodic one. I think it suits it's purpose. And if we enter further, modality is one of the characteristics of the gregorian chant, and what it does is breaking a little the resolution feeling, and the perfect cadences, for the service is for eternity and this or that piece is inserted in this continuum.
Thankyou for this performance. Amazing chord progressions, simple but absolutely beautiful. Well played.
🟦⬜🟥 C'est magnifique !
This is heavy and bold simplicity! ❤ gonna play it Wednesday
Thank you for uploading this. It inspired me to go and find it and play it for myself.
Hermoso! Beautiful!
Thanks!!
Molto interessante, bravo!
A beautiful piece and very majestic. Beautifully played. Thank you for the notes.
Yes! Majestic was exactly the word that came to mind as I heard this uplifting organ interlude.
A really great piece. Thank you so much for playing it so magnificently. It should be playable even for an amateur organist. Beautiful sound.
Hermoso
Ho avuto la fortuna di suonarla anche nei momenti più difficili di finzione liturgica la musica esprime profondo dispiacere dico X m'E grazie
Never heard, nice.
Molto bello! Dove si può reperire la partitura? Grazie 🙏
Solemn
Down Melody from 26 to 33 , like that.😅
Pretty well executed, no doubt, but at same time no more than just "interesting song", because it seems to wander aimlessly.
