Really enjoy your demos!! So effective thanks. Love how you zoom in to show those paint strokes!
Glad you like them! Thanks for your feedback 😀
Hello Rob, so sorry to hear you haven’t felt well. You’ve been working so hard & need some down time. Watching this painting was so refreshing. I did this some time ago with a small pallet knife. It was very loose too. Longing to get back to all of it. I wish you could paint some scenes from Chartre, isn’t that near where you live? There’s a cathedral there too I think. You are greatly admired by all of us who follow your work ❤️
I am near Chateauroux, a few hours from Chartre.
Brilliant little gem Rob another great exercise thanks!
Thanks Bob 😊
Absolutely mesmerizing…..a tiny window to another world. And Robert just whips ‘em out. A master truly.
Thanks for watching 😀
Great ref photo and not a bad painting either. I really struggle to paint this loose. But big brushes and a small canvas is obviously the way to go. As for feeling a bit off, get out on your bike every day and get plenty of Sunshine, always works for me.
I will do! Thanks again for the photos. I look forward to painting this scene on a larger scale 😀
Bonjour Cher Robert !

Brilliant. Can you tell me what you cover your panels prior to painting with and why I am sure you will have covered this but can’t remember the answer.
Acylic gesso. I add a little burnt umber acrylic to tone it. Thanks for watching 😀
Do you use acrylic paint for your under paint
I stain the canvas with acrylic sometimes.
Do you use solvent or oíl when you mix your colors?, or use Liquin?
I add a little linseed oil.
@@OilPaintingwithRobertMee thanks a lot for your response!.
