I think you can take prenatal vitamins even when you're planning a pregnancy. Get stored up ahead of time. You'd be amazed what it does for your hair. Thick and glossy.

When doing the wallpaper on the boards, if you cut across the corners at a diagonal, when you fold them over it’s a lot neater, it’s like it’s mitred 👌🏼
It does look pretty here. As she says, she looks like a mermaid! Did she add extensions? It's suddenly much longer - and the longer parts look darker. I do like her hair just a little shorter as when she cut it a couple of months ago.
For your drawer inserts, you could also use book board (what binders use to create books or repair them) which is a heavy dense cardboard that would take the wall paper very well.

I love the wallpaper in the drawers! I have an antique buffet I covered the inside of drawers with Velvet I love it too! It keeps the silverware from clanging together or getting scratched

Did you know, that if you scrub your runners/sneekers with a paste made from Baking Soda and Vinegar, they will clean up really well. If they're leather, then you can use saddle soap on the leather parts. We always said it was more thrifty to clean up our old runners unless they had actual rips or holes in them... then we could either save the money for something bigger, or buy something impulsively as a treat.
Magic eraser works wonders on sneakers! Wet the eraser - squeeze out excess & try on a test spot first. For certain works better on the rubber sole (edge). Baby wipes r awesome for the white leather upper as is a 50:50 solution of alcohol & water but must condition after.
Romeo is right about your tennis shoes! Machine wash them, air dry them and the shoe laces put them in a bowl of hot water with bleach. After about a half an hour they should be white\ rinse with water air dry. Tada they look brand new!!!!

My goal today is finishing the door casing by wrapping trim around the base to hide the gap laminate floors need around the perimeter. Wanted to make it look intentional not a hack job, you taught me the importance of that 🙂

Foam board from the $store covered in felt is how I lined my buffet cabinet, intimates drawer, and any other drawers that need that special treatment. It's lighter and cuts easily.
The drawer cover technique is definitely one I will use. My grandmother’s chest of drawers from the 1940s has newspaper in the bottom dated from then. It is fragile torn and I want to make it more attractive and also protect it.
Love your attention to detail MaCenna and the fact that you didn't want to add anything permanent to your antique piece of furniture which is beautiful as is - the lining paper looks beautiful as it does in your small cabinet. I've lined my dining room cabinets with wallpaper that I love but they are not in any way valuable.
If you get another drawer project like this one, you could just lay a dry piece of wallpaper down in the drawer and then get a large desk blogger and use an exacto knife and cut pieces to size and put on top of the wallpaper. It's clear so the wallpaper shows well and the clear blogger material is great for cleaning.
Re: wall crack. If you want it to be a little more resistant to cracking again use a mesh before joint compound, etc. check it out. We’ve done this a lot through the years.

Neighbor probably wouldn't have cared about that, either. She might have stopped and looked up for a second, but she'd have gone on with making dinner. People understand that others have things to do in their lives and are usually pretty laissez-faire about noises unless it's late or early. No late night construction sessions like in TX! 😂😂
It's the little things, the velvet tabs on your drawer liners are super smart. The wallpaper liners in your French cabinet are lovely. Every detail you add to make your project prettier will add to your daily pleasure of using it/them. The newly redone cabinet looks pretty and very functional. The best of both worlds. 💐

I have been organizing too. It is much better than my outside chores, sooo hot. The weather channel says another heat dome behind this one. I got my tapestry patterns, received the fabric and some of the threads. I ordered 4 packs of bulk threads, and they are the right colors! Next I will order the entire list of colors. I've never made such large tapestries just little practice ones to see if I like doing the stitches.

You could maybe put things like napkins, napkin rings, name tags, etc. in those clear organizers in the top drawer. I also think that drawer would be great to put taper candles in! 💕

Our Homegoods has paper yard sticks hanging on the end caps of some isles if you ever don’t bring one in the future. A dollar bill is also 6.14” long and in a pinch I have used that to get a measurement. Love your new home projects.

Use the little acrylic box in your kitchen drawer for you to put your rings. Or keep it in the drawer where you have the larger boxes for the utensils and add a duplicate set of keys for you and Romeo, for when and if, you lose your keys!
You can put fancy toothpicks in the smallest clear box! I also have silverware that I bought to use for entertaining only. I hand wash them so they stay shiny and new looking!!
I have an ancient dog eared paper IKEA tape in my purse. Haven't even been there since pre COVID, don't know if they still have them for free, but they're very handy when shopping for home STUFF anywhere. 😊
Home Goods usually has tape measurers available for shoppers to use I find mine throughout the store on the columns in the aisles. Just a note for next time you forget your measuring tape! 😊
Such a cute little project, and such a easy, simple pace than what your norm is! I love your cabinet and the little oven cleaner hack I will have to try! So I have a suggestion later down the road, your piece of furniture in the front room, once you expand and make more of a formal dining room instead of putting hardware in junk lol in those drawers that you just did the beautiful little wood/wallpaper flooring on you should find you a really pretty velveteen type of silverware organizer, and it act as a Buffet as well for your silverware. Just food for thought because I love both of those pieces!

Poster board is another great option too if you don’t have plywood. It’s inexpensive and easy to find and your neighbors will never hear it😉

Try Soft Scrub and a medium bristle brush on the white edges of your sneakers. Works wonders. I've done this several times.

Use the little acrylic box in your kitchen drawer for you to put your rings. Or keep it in the drawer where you have the larger boxes for the utensils and add a duplicate set of keys for you and Romeo, for when and if, you lose your keys!

You can put fancy toothpicks in the smallest clear box! I also have silverware that I bought to use for entertaining only. I hand wash them so they stay shiny and new looking!!

I have an ancient dog eared paper IKEA tape in my purse. Haven't even been there since pre COVID, don't know if they still have them for free, but they're very handy when shopping for home STUFF anywhere. 😊
Home Goods usually has tape measurers available for shoppers to use I find mine throughout the store on the columns in the aisles. Just a note for next time you forget your measuring tape! 😊

Such a cute little project, and such a easy, simple pace than what your norm is! I love your cabinet and the little oven cleaner hack I will have to try! So I have a suggestion later down the road, your piece of furniture in the front room, once you expand and make more of a formal dining room instead of putting hardware in junk lol in those drawers that you just did the beautiful little wood/wallpaper flooring on you should find you a really pretty velveteen type of silverware organizer, and it act as a Buffet as well for your silverware. Just food for thought because I love both of those pieces!
The plywood is a good option especially since you have it on hand. You can also use foam core.
