  • Ladder Grips are available at £68.00 from www.laddergrips.com
Ladder Grips are now available in two versions, original steel, and new light-weight aluminium/aluminum. Customers in USA, Canada, UK, and Ireland can buy through the website www.laddergrips.com/buy-now
Introducing Ladder Grips the new ladder safety accessories for the workplace and home. Size for size, no other ladder safety devices or accessories provide the level of safety or versatility as Ladder Grips and should be part of your ladder safety equipment. Ladder Grips have been designed and manufactured in the UK and feature welded 2.5mm steel with a powder coating and non-ferrous fittings for maximum strength and durability plus a special grade of natural rubber ladder pads for maximum grip with the working surface.
In this ladder safety video we show that Ladder Grips can be attached to all box section ladders, transforming almost any ladder into a much safer working platform. You simply clamp them anywhere along the ladder stiles, or legs, and secure by tightening the thumb screw.
The natural rubber surface contact ladder pads can be locked parallel to the ladder stile, or pivoted, providing full contact with the surface for working angles up to 25 degrees. The grips can be independently positioned and clamped to the ladder stiles so you can work more safely on sloping surfaces, such as a gable end. Normally the poor contact of the ladder would allow even a moderate gust of wind to blow your ladder off its landing. But by off-set clamping of the Ladder Grips your ladder maintains full and secure contact with the working surface. In the first demonstration in the video even the sideways force of an impacting 45kg concrete post cannot overcome the gripping power of the Ladder Grips. Friction between the non-marking rubber pads and almost any surface reduces sideways and downwards slippage of the top of the ladder, thereby improving ladder stability. If the top of the ladder cannot move the ladder feet are unlikely to slip. You should always secure your ladder feet but in the demonstration we are going to put the ladder feet on the least secure platform we can think of, a castor-board.
At the top, the Ladder Grips are in contact and gripping the working surface, at the bottom the ladder is resting on a castor-board. Although we strongly recommend that you do not replicate this demonstration, climbing up the ladder or even bouncing on the ladder does not make the ladder slip. That’s the power of 14,000mm2 of natural rubber pads in a patent pending design that can give your ladder 350% more stability.
And have you ever seen a ladder used at a sideways angle to the vertical? Do not try it yourself but in our second demonstration you can see even in extreme use the ladder grips make ladder use safer.
Ladder Grips are also small enough to pack away in your tool box once the job is done, or you can leave them on the ladder for storage.
Stay secure, stay safe. Get your Ladder Grips today. For more details and pricing visit laddergrips.com
DO NOT replicate any of the demonstration in this video. Ladder grips are NOT intended to help you use a ladder inappropriately. For details of best practice in safe ladder use visit the HSE website www.hse.gov.uk/work-at-height/...

A ladder with Ladder Grips is significantly safer than just a ladder alone. Great product and a must have for anyone using a ladder at work or around the home.

+isitebuild They really are good. The fact you can leave the ladder feet free to move is completely counter-intuitive but when you realize that if the top is gripping there's no where for the ladder feet to go except upwards and the downward force of gravity is going to stop that. It's a genius idea.

Keeper, that is like saying to a handicap person who cannot walk that
they should not be traveling. This is why, just like with the invention
here of the Ladder Grip, solutions to the problem are designed and
engineered to help aid the unfortunate ones on their journey. Hence, a
stroller, a wheel chair, a cane, a prosthetic leg, and more were created
to assist them. To say Stephanie should not be owning a ladder due to
her falling off only crutches her in her development and progress. On
the contrary, with the proper training and equipment, she can now safely
climb a ladder to accomplish her tasks. She believes the "True Grip"
Ladder Accessory is a "brilliant" answer to her problem of "frequently
falling off ladders." :) I hope Stephanie wasn't hurt when she fell.
Falling off ladders is a serious issue. I am excited to see new
innovations like this move into the Safety Industry.

For the slider that the user adjusts to attach the device on a ladder, how wide can a c-channel of a ladder be for the slider to work? I'm not sure if this fits on my friend's ladder that has a thick c-channel.

  • @John01GM40

fantastic to see you are still in production 7 years later, looks a great product and will be buying a pair next week.
However, the clamping system on the ladder styles looks to be unnecessarily cumbersome for most ladders. Almost be definition they must be fitted at the top end of a ladder, so should never interfere with using the ladder, as no one is going to climb past them, but why so big?
As the primary selling point of the system is the "rubber" contact surface, any plans to make a product that can be added to ladder stand offs? I suspect a ladder is used with a stand off as least as often (eg gutter cleaning, working around windows, or accessing the roof) as it is used just leaning against a wall, so whist a great idea, the product in current format has limited application - which is a great shame.
having "your feet" that can be used with other products may be a cross selling opportunity

  • @laddergrips1493

unfortunately there are some people out there that have no idea of how to use a ladder which makes it more important to use this product.

I tried to position my 24' ladder on the rake of a gable and, the way the geometry works out, both rails will not touch the rake if the ladder is sloped away (as its supposed to be) unless the ladder is rotated off perpendicular (in which case the feet no longer contact the ground evenly). For these ladder grips to work properly on a gable rake, they would need to extend further out on the low side (ladder will hit rake on high side first). My roof is low-slope (5/12), its worse on a steeper slope.

    • @laddergrips1493
      @laddergrips1493 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi, are you trying to imply that I have misled viewers and that you cant really work on gable ends with ladder grips on your ladders? I can provide you with plenty proof that you are very much mistaken ,
in fact if you wish I will give you a personal demonstration of how to safely use a ladder on a slopping gable end.

    • @Mike75575
      @Mike75575 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Yes duke. I agree with you. The foot of the ladder would need to be slightly closer to the wall on the lower side. Simple geometry, and common sense even with the grip attachments.

"As far as I can gather Tools do not need to be approved to be used, but some companies required in their particular company that they are OSHA Approved. So I think the answer is yes, unless the company needs OSHA approval."
