For all of infinite’s lifespan I’ve been a competitive player for 90% of my total playtime. 8v8 is the BEST casual Halo experience.
Im glad everyone else is having fun with it. I started 3 games day of release and half the team was AFK. Haven’t gone back to squad battle since that day

@@Gu-Ajojoloteyeah, especially one flag. That game mode sucks and takes forever to end because neither team can ever win.
A stupid amount of people rage quit in matches I get into in Squad Battle which kinda kills the fun, as well as a pretty limited amount of counters to air vehicles imo
@@justyouraveragem4a136 the super small sandbox with buffed versions of already existing weapons DONT count as new weapons. im sick of Halo infinite's sandbox being so Lean. give us all the weapons from Halo Macworld, Halo 2, 3, ODST, Reach, 4, and 5.

Also usa players doesn't suffer from desync anymore. It's just lack of technical debt who can work on azure service this game runs on. Only thing they have to is....expand the servers, that's it.

As a solo player 8v8 feels sooooo much more fun to play then going in alone in 4v4s. Definitely love this mode and hope they put most of their support behind it
It brought me back to the game. I hope 343 realizes that open BTB maps with sight-lines, multiple "power weapon" spawns with quick spawn rates, and easier vehicle gameplay are what players want.

When I play, I’m shocked if I get a no-scope. When Mint Blitz plays, I’m shocked when he misses a no-scope. Bloody good gaming, it’s always a pleasure to see.

Squad battles shows that just cause infinite was built to be a comp experience the sandbox can do so much more

Year and a Half, and the greatest update to come out, is something that adds some spice from old Halo Games into Infinite.

Honestly I have been grinding a lot of Squad Battle since I have played again after a short break. This mode is a lot of fun! To be completely honest when I saw H2 Chasm in the maps(I did not check before hand) I was in love. This is honestly an amazing experience that hit pretty hard for I am sure, all of us.

Love squad battle, 343 needs to take notes from this mode for big team. My biggest issue with big team is the maps are way to infantry focused and vehicles feel like an afterthought. The great thing about squad battle is the Maps have a nice blend of infantry areas and vehicle areas. Current big team maps just feel too cluttered and doesn’t have enough space for vehicle play in my opinion. But with squad battle I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I find that the teams are heavily unbalanced. It seems one team always dominates the other team.
That's just the nature of Halo, the team who gets the vehicles and power weapons first and can use them well gets the upper hand. They're not invincible, though, it's possible to snipe the people riding them or just blow the vehicles up with grenades and turrets! Unbalanced? Perhaps, but somehow it never feels unfair or not fun.
Oh, I know getting power weapons and what not is key. What I mean with unbalanced is it seems that the skill difference between the teams is drastically different.
@@102GLEN Oh. ...Yeah, it is pretty bad. Even MCC struggles with fair matchups. There's a lot of times I get _annihilated_ by teams of people who seemingly play these specific games for a living and treat it like a life or death situation while all I have is a pea shooter and three store mannequins for teammates. There's also times when I'm the one doing the destroying, or happen to be on the same team as someone who single handedly gets 70% of every kill in a game. I don't know how to fix it, but they gotta figure something out.
@@BlueAizu_ You described it perfectly lol, I’ve had maybe 4 games where both teams seemed pretty evenly matched. Doesn’t seem to have skill based matchmaking (not that is should) however, they need to do something with the team balance for the mode.
the first time i played the zanzibar remake on halo infinite it brought back so many memories. arguably my favorite halo map ever made! in my first playthru of the infinite version, i completely ignored the actually gameplay to test and see the details they kept from the original map, and what things they added or changed. LOVE this game mode
Squad battle is honestly the only playlist I play in Infinite now.

As much as I personally despise Squad Battle, I’m glad to hear that everyone else is enjoying it.
Just to be clear: Squad Battle is not a bad playlist. If everyone else loves it and wants to keep it, then please keep it. The only reason I don’t like it is because of how much I suck at it, and so I’d rather play other modes instead of demanding that 343 scrap it.
Halo infinite is getting good content for sure. This is good content and we could safely say that 343i ordered their house moving the bar to the right. They are being assertive, precise and concise with the updates. I've been waiting for a good comeback. I never expected one this good.
It's moderate, doesn't promise anything. They simply plug in the update and deliver. They do not announce time tables of future things. They simply dispatch good updates on moderate time schedules. 343i ordered the house and their game. I would love a comeback with campaign mode. The PvP is super robust now.

They've been doing a pretty good job with Halo Infinite this season. Out of all the seasons so far, this one has me coming back and playing the most, and it's not even close. I never bothered getting higher than around Level 15 on the past few seasons (and 15's being generous), but this time I reached over double that without even meaning to because I've just enjoyed playing that much. Needless to say I felt pretty justified buying the Battle Pass this season.
If they keep up with the good and timely updates, I will be forced to ask who the people working on this game are and what they did to 343.

the snipers only mode has been a blessing frfr, my snipes are insane and i hope they one day keep it as a regular mode
The best thing halo infinite has done is 8v8 and old school maps that are actually designed for gameplay and fun.

And nearly every player is just using normal cosmetics and not RGB flashing power ranger suits. not suprisiing.
The other day I sprat some poor soul in waterworks by shooting down those cealing hazard and it was such throw back to the good ol' H2 days

Squad battle is the best thing to happen to infinite in a while, even better since it has the classic maps.. playing on Halo 2 maps is awesome.

The Valhalla remake is like 85-90% of what H3 was like imo. Been a Halo nerd for like 20 years or whatever now lol Squad Battles is the most fun in Infinite by far. Definitely go play it.

I don't know what's happened but this past week I've had MAJOR issues trying to find matches. Even on expanded search, playlists will say queue times of between 50 seconds and 1 minute, but I will sit in queue for 10+ minutes not finding a match until I cancel search and restart, sometimes needing to restart multiple times. I have no idea what's causing this, it's occurring on both PC and Xbox Series X, and it's incredibly frustrating as all I want to do is jump on Halo and smash out a heap of matches, but end up quitting after one or two due to these wait times

Squad battles is an awsome playlist... WHEN the teams are awesome and your team doesn't just leave. But that's not 343's fault. All Halo games have had that problem.
I really miss the community featured playlist... I wish they would keep it as a permanent mode, but just keep swapping out the maps to keep things fresh

I've been in love with the Squad Battles playlist, its pretty much all I play since it came out. The only gripe I have is I don't like One Flag because those matches take forever.
Because of your videos I decided to play this game for the first time since March, and I had a blast on this playlist. Despite its ongoing issues, this game has made strides. Thanks for the updates on it.
Cannot play squad battle in Aus, it's timed out 5 times at peak hours, really sad to see.

despite having some bad SBMM moments with very unbalanced teams, I have had sooooo much fun in squad battles, I do still enjoy the 12 v 12 btb but definitely feel like we need classic maps, and Squad battles at 8v8 feel so hectic sometimes, I love it.

Im so glad they added the classic maps. I even really enjoy exile, it plays very well and is just as fun as I remember. My favorite halo is 2, but i really enjoyed the others. I even had alot of fun with 4. Hopefully theyll add some snow maps to the playlist :).

We need help with the MCC fatal error crash at startup. It seems like it's only happening to some people. No matter which drive you use, and whether you uninstall and reinstall the game, it just crashes on startup every single time. Is anyone else having this problem??
Best update includes old stuff and playlists that should of been there at launch, yes they’ve done ok to catch up but shouldn’t of been the problem to start with.

I wish they would add a rank to every single playlist, to actually give me something to play for, like the old Halo 2 days. There was a reason to play all the playlists, trying to reach level 50. It doesn't have to make things sweaty like actual ranked, just a measure of achievement in each playlist, plz 343 😢
Since I can earn my career rank anywhere , this doesn't have that effect.
